IV. Tools and Equipment Needed: 1 - Standard/Flat Screw Driver 1 - Philips Screw Driver 1 - Long Nose Pliers 1 - Side Cutting Pliers 1 – Hammer and Chisel 1 - Pocket knife 1 - Continuity Tester or Multi-tester V. Procedures: 1. Prepare the plan. 2. Gather all necessary materials, tools and equipment needed. 3. Find a base. 4. Prepare a base for the rod. 5. Stabilize the bottom of the base. 6. Thread the cord through the rod. 7. Screw the neck onto the lamp rod (optional). 8. Add the harp bottom. 9. Screw on the socket cup. 10. Strip the wires. 11. Tie the wires. 12. Find the hot wire and the neutral wire. 13. Wrap the wires around the screws on the bulb socket. 14. Put the socket shell over the bulb socket 15. Attach the top of the harp. 16. Place the lampshade on the top of the harp. 17. Screw a light bulb into the socket, and plug in your lamp.
