Lesson Title: Pollution Time Frame: 60 minutes Prepared by: Edna Mae M. Parungao

Objectives At the end of the lesson, the learners l earners should be able: a) Define the meaning of pollution. b) Identify the various pollution that is created by mankind. c) Show some team work on the group activity.
Subject Matter Topic: Pollution References: Google / wikipedia.com Science Book by: Unday, Bantuela, Nicdao, Sarmago 2011 Materials: Visual aids, pictures, puzzle Values: To know how pollution is mad and how we can c an control it.

Procedure A. Recall Teachers Activity Good Afternoon class! So may I ask you what is our last topic on science?
Students Activity (Student will answer in chorus)
B. Motivation The learners will be divided into four groups; each group will be given some pieves of picture puzzles. They wil be askedto arrange the pieces in order for them to guess the whole picture. They will come up with the following words: 1) Air 2) Water
3) Land 4) Noise
*Presentation* “Very nice guys! I am happy that you were able to finish the task I’ve given. Now anybody in each group can tell me what does he/she notices in the puzzle”
(Student will give their anwers)
C. Learning activities “Very good ever yone! Now, let me introduce you for our topic today. Pollution.” (Visual aids must be red and will ask some student to read ift for the class and let him/her explain it a little.) (Few questions maybe asked to the volunteer students)
(Students will participate willingly in the discussion)
(Students will answer the questions being asked)
D. Generalizations
“ Okay class, have yopu learsn something from today?” “Any clarifications or questions. Class?”
(Student will answer yes or no) (Students will ay no or ask some questions)
E. Application There are questions in the word POLLUTION. Each group must sent a representative(alternating for all the members to participate accordingly) in front to answer the question. This is a quizbee like form of activity.
(Will pick a letter in the word POLLUTION and tell the groups the question.)
