Remove, clean & lubricate brake core on DC brakes, clean linings if necessary, check wear. Seal small leaks. Clean armatures, motors with blower or vacuum. Check armature & rotor clearances. Check motor connections. Change oil in bearings. Clean w/blower;, check align, of sws, lub. hinge pins. Check all resistance tubes & grids. Check oil in overload relays, setgs. & oper. Clean & check ffuses & holders; check contr. conns Check traveling nut & gears for wear. See that sheave:s.are tight on shafts, sound spokes and rim with haimmer for cracks. Check hitches a broken tape switch. Check stile channels for bends or cracks; also carframe, cams IS- support. Lub moving parrts of vert, rising or coll; car gates, also check pivot points, sheaves, guides ft track for wear Check car enclosure steadying plates. Check car clearances for car safety shoes. Check shaft brg:s., tapered pins, alignment, oper. of cams, rollers. Check fasteningis, operation of checks, interlocks. Check contacts,, switches, clean and lub. car oper. box Check all rope hitches, shackles, equal rope tension. Check all fastemings, inspect all ropes of wear. Lubricate guide shoe stems & adjust if necessary. (Car 8; Cwt.) Lub. wheel brgs., small ami. as reqd. Clean & check guide rails, cams & fstngs, al«o cwt. I nsp ec t limit Er te rm sw s. lu bri cat e pi ns and rol ler s. Check wear, inssul, hanging, inspect June, box conns. Clean chains, tracks, sheaves, lubricate as reqd. Check door contacts. Clean, lub. tracks, h'gers, ch'k upthrust it adj. if nee.
