INTRODUCTION
The Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 covers a wide range of basic safety, health and welfare issues and apply to most worplaces !with the e"ception of those worplaces on board ships or armed forces#$ As we find an article about an accident happen in worplace at %alaysia we find an article that interested to be our case study$ &e &e agree to choose an accident that happen at 'alan (a)a *hulan, +uala umpur which is a woman illed after crane hoo falls onto her car$ -rom the news it is understood that the incident occurred at .$/0pm$ The hoo, which was attached to a crane at a nearby construction site, is believed to have detached and fell onto her erodua +elisa$ The accident believes to happen on /2 August /013, The victim is identified as *hin +hoon Sing, /4, from eorge Town, enang$ *hin, whose car was stationary in the traffic )am, was illed instantly$ instantly$ The construction site is believed to be part of the avilion shopping mall$ 5t is learnt that the hoo weighs about a ton$ &e believe this accident occurs because of less awareness about safety procedure that state in The Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994$

&hile act 179 was -actories and %achinery Act 193. and act 1/. was 8nvironmental uality act 19.4$ Our case study was related to the act 214, act 179 and act 1/. which is we believe this accident occur because of failed and no procedure been apply to protect persons at a place of wor other than employees$ &e also believe that this accident occur lac of following the act 179 to mae sure the crane hoo was strong enough to lift the load$ :esides that, it is not possible that act 1/. was failed to follow by employees which is the wor been done during rush hour evening that may causes sound pollution that can causes a misunderstanding between employees because of minima of sound hearing that finally can causes the accident and ill people$

-rom the accident we identify that it is important to follow safety procedure as state in the act in a way to protect and prevent accident from happen$ The obligation to ensure the safety and health at wor is on those who create the riss and those who wor with these riss$ 5t is important for us to analy;e ha;ard in our worplace at tae action to prevent accident according to those ha;ard$ As the accident that happen from the article we choose, it is believe to happen because of carelessness of the employees to identify the ha;ard$ The wor should not have been done on rush hour of evening because it is increases the ris of accident that may ill someone$ The employees should also to mae sure the hoo, which was attached to a crane can afford the load and strong enough$ The important to follow the act that already been guide in act 214,179 and 1/. because it is clearly already guide us how to prevent those accidents from happening$ &e should also have applied it in our woring life in %alaysia in order to create safety culture in our country by year of /0/0$
