ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON WORK EXPERIENCES: My time with BP provided me with insights in formulating and implementing an overarching strategy for a new business unit. In creating the performance management system for this business, I learnt about the challenges in changing a company’s strategy in response to a Black Swan event (the 2010 Gulf of Mexico incident) and especially the importance of designing an effective organisational structure. Finally, my MBA at the IESE Business School not only helped build my analytical skills and business knowledge, but also helped me appreciate working with ~50 nationalities with diverse prior backgrounds.
