INTRODUCTION
NCAE or National Career Assessment Examination, is a test taken by the Grade 9 0r 3rd year high school students all around the Philippines in both public and private school. This NCAE results helps the students choose or decide the course that they want to pursue. The National Career Assessment Examination is very important especially to those Grade 9 or 3rd year students because it helps the students to know their skills and to know also thae track that they are going to take in senior high school.
According to Jared Martin (2015) The NCAE was created because many people in the Philippines were unemployed. They didn't like their career path and because of this probably quit. The Importance of the test is to help the students to determine which courses they should look at for college. The purpose of the NCAE is to help students determine which courses they should study in college and what sort of career they are best suited for. Like many standardized tests, the NCAE measures students' general scholastic knowledge. However, the NCAE also tests vocational aptitude, occupational preferences and entrepreneurial skills. (Lissabeth Ross, 2015)
NCAE results can be a big help for the students to have a beautiful career and future.
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
The purpose of this study is to help the student to choose what track they should get for Senior High School Grade 11-12. The target respondents of this research are the Grade 10- Malvar. We would like to know if the result of NCAE is the Track they want to take in Senior High School.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
To Students – For the students to know what track they should take when they enter the Senior High School Program.
To Teacher – For the teachers to determine the appropriate track for their students.
To Other Researchers – For the researchers to have ideas aligned with the topic for future researchers.

The study focuses on how NCAE results will help the Grade 10 - Malvar Student of Pasay City East High School in choosing their career plan for their Senior High School years. The study identifies the interest of the students and how it is related to the track they are going to choose for Senior High School.
The study only concerns representative students of Grade 10 – Malvar of Pasay City East High School.
