RFE1 Survey
RFE1 Survey- Definition • RFE stands for Ready for Electronics. • RFE1 survey is done to check the site environment and infra readiness before carrying the installation of the system or network element .
• It’s a first step of deployment project in which we check all parameters
those are required for eNB installation like measuring lengths of cables, checking the grounding, power, space availability for network element.
Need for RFE1 Survey! • Cable Lengths: – Short cable can delay the installation or if too long can affect the project cost & quality.
• Site Infra: – Site Infra should be as per site requirement, if not, it affects the project timeline.
• To reconfirm the RF planning’s requirement and the data in TSSR (Technical Site Survey Report).
• Note – P1 sites are the sites built and owned by RJIL, also called as ‘own’ sites. – RP1 sites are the sites that will be built by Rcom and also called as ‘Shared or CoLo’.
