Within an hour, EDSA was filled with people. February 23, 1986 Enrile moved to Camp Crame in the afternoon. The people mediated between the soldiers of Malacanang and Enrile. Many soldiers went to Camp Crame.
The rebel group gained control over the media like radio and TV stations and the secret arsenal, and also the support of the soldiers. People in Manila united with the soldiers in Camp Crame.
