Information Course Description:
The Intensive Review of Internal Medicine Course is designed to enhance internal medicine knowledge by offering a comprehensive update in internal medicine & its subspecialties. It will consist of a case-based review of challenging clinical problems and review of literature to guide evidence-based practice. This course can also serve to prepare attendees for the ABIM Board Examinations (Certification/ Recertification). and offers daily board review question and answer practice sessions in each subspecialty, as well as a special session on maintenance of certification/practice exam. The program will also consist of daily case-based lectures & meet the professor luncheons covering the most important topics in internal medicine. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on the practical application of physiological principals to the understanding and management of clinical problems particularly for board exam preparation. A self-study DVD containing all general session lectures recorded from this live activity will also be included as a reference for learners preparing for the board exams.
