A famous Mon king known as as Dhammazeti whose title is Râmâdhipati was king of Hamsavati (Pegu) from 1472-92 A.D. He engraved Mon legends on stones such as the legend of Kyaik Dagun, Kyaik Mahtau etc., when he together with his Royal mother-in-law Shinsawpu, restored them. He reconstructed an exact model of the Buddhist Holy Land of India and had inscribed Buddha legends on stones in Mon. King Dhammazeti’s Kalayanisima inscriptions in Mon seven stones were destroyed by Burmese King Alaungpaya during he occupied Monland in 1757. Collected by Bee Htaw Monzel
