RECONOCIMIENTO DE CAMPO (CALICATA) I. INTRUDUCCION Una de las razones del estudio del suelo es justamente es la incorporación de los nuevos sistemas de construcción construcción para lo cual es impresendible impresendible la aplicación de tecnologías tecnologías como la de ingeniería de suelos las cuales nos nos van a determinar la calidad de la construcción q vamos a realizar en el lugar insitu. La cual se basa este estudio en obtener resultados y predecir que es el lugar para hacer algo ya sea movimiento y/o y/o construcción. La realización de la calicata es de ensayo imprescindible en las obras de Ingeniería Civil y se realiza una previa, para saber la calidad del suelo que esta presente en la base de nuestra obra.

el docente nos recomendó ubicar el
lugar donde puedan construir y pedir el permiso del dueño y hacer la calicata respectiva y hacer el estudio de suelo de dicho lugar ubicado.

IV. MARCO TEORICO. a. Reconocimiento. El terreno es un medio natural, en general, heterogéneo y anisótropo, por tanto serán necesarios estudios previos, sin los cuales sus propiedades no podrán extrapolarse de otros resultados obtenidos en zonas adyacentes. Así, y aunque existan obras y terrenos similares, cada problema geotécnico tendrá su propia unicidad. El reconocimiento del terreno se basa en la identificación y cuantificación de las propiedades ingenieriles del terreno, es decir de las características que le son necesarias desde un punto de vista geotécnico. Para cada uno de los casos objeto de estudio se requerirá de una planificación previa y un cierto proceso iterativo entre lo que se desea conocer y los medios que están disponibles. En el reconocimiento del terreno es habitual diferenciar cuatro escalas de observación que nos proporcionarán diferente información, si bien pueden y deben interpretarse conjuntamente:

El lugar es único (UTEA) y debe tener un planteamiento diferenciado y que, a pesar de que los antecedentes de una zona determinada pueden ser útiles, ello no debe cuestionar la necesidad de un reconocimiento actualizado. Habitualmente en un proyecto geotécnico se asigna una partida presupuestaria para el reconocimiento dentro de la correspondiente a la del informe geotécnico. En los presupuestos de obra suele destinarse al reconocimiento entre un 0,2 y un 0,5% del total del proyecto. Las caliccatas permiten la inspección directa del suelo que se desea estudiar y, por lo tanto, es el método de exploración que normalmente entrega la información más confiable y completa. En suelos con grava, la calicata es el único medio de exploración que puede entregar información confiable, y es un medio muy efectivo para exploración y muestreo de suelos de fundación y materiales de construcción a un costo relativamente bajo.
Es necesario registrar la ubicación y elevación de cada pozo, los que son numerados según la ubicación. Si un pozo programado no se ejecuta, es preferible mantener el número del pozo en el registro como "no realizado" en vez de volver a usar el número en otro lugar, para eliminar confusiones. La profundidad está determinada por las exigencias de la investigación pero es dada, generalmente, por el nivel freático.
La sección mínima recomendada es de 0.80 m por 1.00 m, a fin de permitir una adecuada inspección de las paredes. El material excavado deberá depositarse en la superficie en forma ordenada separado de acuerdo a la profundidad y horizonte correspondiente. Debe desecharse todo el material contaminado con suelos de estratos diferentes. Se dejarán plataformas o escalones de 0.30 a 0.40 metros al cambio de estrato, reduciéndose la excavación. Esto permite una superficie para efectuar la determinación de la densidad del terreno. Se deberá dejar al menos una de las paredes lo menos remoldeada y contaminada posible, de modo que representen fielmente el perfil estratigráfico del pozo. Una pala es una herramienta de mano utilizada para excavar o mover materiales con cohesión relativamente pequeña. Consta, básicamente, de una lámina plana con una ligera curvatura y de un mango de metal o madera con el que se maneja. La parte plana suele ser metálica y el mango remata en un asidero que puede ser recto o curvo, para poder ejercer mayor fuerza con una de las manos.

h. Plastico. Se denomina plástico a materiales constituidos por una variedad de compuestos orgánicos, sintéticos o semisintéticos, que tienen la propiedad de ser maleables y por tanto pueden ser moldeados en objetos sólidos de diversas formas. Esta propiedad confiere a los plásticos una gran variedad de aplicaciones. Su nombre deriva de plasticidad, una propiedad de los materiales, que se refiere a la capacidad de deformarse sin llegar a romperse.
Los plásticos son típicamente polímeros de alto peso molecular de moléculas orgánicas. Usualmente se sintetizan a partir de derivados químicos del petróleo (petroquímicos).
