HRSG-1A STEAM DRUMS INSPECTION REPORT GT-1A3rd MI declared from 17-12-2012 to 21-12-2012. During 3rd Minor inspection of GT-1A, we inspected HP,IP,LP and Deaerator De aerator internals. During Deaerator inspection,it was observed that the deaerator inside some corrosion points at different locations were observed and their thei r photos were illustrated below. Remaining internals like perforated pegging steam header,condensate inlet nozzle,feed pumps suction nozzles,feed water recirculation lines and found no abnormality.
HP steam drum manway opened and internals like steam and water separators,demister pads,all the nozzles inside drum ,cbd and ibd lines,feed water supply pipe were inspected and found normal. At IBD nozzle area,some fin e sludge material was observed and that was removed and informed to Chemist. After completion of inspection, drum manway fixed with new gasket.
