2 Lexicon sc : single crochet inc : increase incdc : increase double crochet inchhdc : increase half double crochet dec : dec ch : chain ss : slip stitch hdc : half double crochet dc : double crochet tc : treble crochet BLO : back loop only FLO : front loop only (…)x ? : repeat (…) number of ? [..] : work in the same stitch ** : repeat sequence between * when it’s asked Remind : Color’s change is made on last yarn over of previous stitch : this is loop you have on your hook before making a stitch which show you last stitch color ! Example : Y 2sc, G 2sc : work 1 yellow stitch complete, insert hook on next stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, leave yellow yarn take green yarn, yarn over and draw through all loops : you will have 2 yellow stitches, and next one will be green color. Think about keeping unworked yarn on back of your work to take it in the same time you work Stuffed toys are made with different ways : For Rows: A turning chain of 1 or 2 ch is made at the end of each row, depending on what the first stitch of the next row will be. If it is a sc, you will need 1ch. For hdc or dc, you will need 2ch. The turning chains are used to adjust the height of the row. They do not count as stitches unless stated otherwise. For Closed (Joined) Rounds: The last stitch of the round is joined by a ss to the first stitch of the round. 1ch (or 2ch for hdc/dc) is made before beginning the round. This chain does not count as a stitch. Begin your work in the same stitch you joined to. For Continuous Rounds: You will work in a continuous spiral, without joining your rounds. Use a stitch marker to keep track of the beginning of your rounds. The tutorial is deyarned row by row so you can print it and lock each row made. Ready ? Let’s go !
