1. FUNCIONAMIENTO El Motor Diésel Es un motor autoencendido, autoencendido, que aspira solamente aire, sometiéndolo a alta compresión. Es una máquina motriz a combustión con máximo grado de eficiencia. El rendimiento fiable y económico de los motores diésel requiere sistemas de inyección que funcionen con alta precisión. Con esos sistemas, el combustible es inyectado en los cilindros del motor bajo alta presión y en el momento adecuado para que la potencia sea alcanzada (Bosch, 2015, pág. 3).
Sistemas Los sistemas de inyeccion diésel pueden aumentar ,quitar o mejorar componentes componentes dependiendo para que fin se necesita un sistema , los sitemas son similares en su funcionamiento mas no en sus componentes ya que unos difieren de otros por mas pequeñas que sean sus sus diferencias es así así que en el presente presente trabajo se hablará del sistema UPS.

En la Figura 2 se puede observar que el sistema de inyección UPS fue dado a conocer en 1995 siendo un sistema confiable en su presión de trabajo ya que esta se mantiene constante para cada cilindro del motor.

En la Figura 3 se puede observar que el sistema trabaja con una bomba independiente por cada cilindro y que constan de de una electroválvula electroválvula integrada la cual cual permite el paso de combustible hacia un pequeño cilindro hueco conectado al porta inyector el cual aumenta la presión para posteriormente el inyector pulverizar el combustible.

2. NUEVAS TECNOLOGÍAS DIÉSEL La constante evolución de los vehículos automotores exige de los fabricantes de auto partes cada vez más la búsqueda por innovaciones y mejorías de los sistemas y componentes diésel, el mercado automotriz esta cada día mas exigente respecto a la seguridad de los vehículos, a un excelente desempeño, al confort, a la economía y al cuidado con el medio ambiente, los nuevos sistemas de inyección diésel electrónicos fueron desarrollados para las nuevas necesidades, buscando siempre menores emisiones de gases contaminantes con mayor economía de combustible (Bosch, 2012). La evolución de los motores Diesel de inyección directa ha venido de la mano del desarrollo de sistemas de inyección cada vez más precisos y con presiones de inyección cada vez más elevadas. Los sistemas de inyección inyección Unit Injector System UIS (también llamado unidad de bombainyector, PDE), y Unit Pump System UPS (también llamado bomba-tubería-inyector, PLD), permiten alcanzar las mayores presiones de inyección; el sistema UPS fue una innovación en los sistemas diésel, tenemos para cada cilindro del motor existe una bomba de alta presión conectada directamente al porta topera del respectivo cilindro (Bosch, Sistemas de inyección diésel, 2005).
