THE PALM JUMEIRAH Temporary sign boards and Construction Fencing
TECHNICAL INFORMATION Introduction These specifications outline minimum design standards in respect of construction sign board and temporary plot fencing.
Construction Site fencing
Materials and Specification All products must be capable of withstanding the harsh climate and environmental conditions of the UAE. All finishes and surface treatments are to be designed to withstand high levels of humidity, salt spray and sand abrasion.
Construction Sign board
Fencing shall be placed on and/or inside the plot limit, unless otherwise approved by Nakheel. Fencing Height shall be 6 meter from ground level (Mandatory for Palm Jumeriah plots). Access opening through fencing shall be equipped with gates w hich shall be kept closed and locked when site is unattended. Fencing shall be made of durable material, must be capable to withstanding the harsh climate and environmental conditions of UAE. Fence color shall be w hite or Nakheel blue (Pantone ® 541) Branding on site fence shall be prepared/submitted by the plot owner for Nakheel approval(NOC center), otherwise Nakheel branding shall be placed on the hoarding.
Process & Procedures
Developer’s boards are required to feature a good deal of administrative information relevant to the development. However, it is the panels which contain the information (top) about the specific Owner development and the Developer identity (middle), which should be the most prominent. As an alternative to this, the top panel can contain marketing imagery relevant to the development. Imagery in this location should only be used when there are no opportunities for imagery in the preferred location, on the site hoardings, at ground level.
