Geolog 6.7 Lic setup for those who too lazy to read manual First, copy the files listed below on the right panel (except debug.log) From: C:\paradigm\geolog6.7\arch\Winnative_XP_x86\bin To: C:\paradig C:\paradigm\site\ m\site\bin bin Copy license.dat file to: C:\paradigm\site\ then rename file to: pgeo.dat Edit pgeo.dat file and replace on first line “pc_name_here” with pc name. SERVER SERVER pc_name_he pc_name_here re any 7011 Also take note of port # listed after name: 7011 Run C:\paradigm\site\bin\Lmtools.exe and select select CONFIG SERVICES tab. Enter info as shown below (do not forget check boxes) then click save button. Exit Lmtools.
Click Start Button on desktop. Right-click MY COMPUTER and select properties. Click ADVANCED tab as shown below. Then Click ENVIRONMENT VARS button. Click NEW below user variables. Enter variable as show below. Click OK 3 times to exit.
Run Geolog. Make New Project if asked. Click Administration on top of menu (by Help). Select License Control. See Window shown below. Click licenses to select on left (sel) and then click Select button oat bottom of window.
Click Administration on top of menu (by Help) again. Select Project Control. Click CONFIGURATION, then select SETUP PNS SERVER. Click Next. Click License tab. Make sure that license fi le is port_number@host_name as shown below.
