It could mean that the visible inheritor was blocking Abram's being able to see the promise being given that he would have an heir. 2. Although looking like the word locators (english...celestials) ~ymX, it has an extra h glyph on the end which breaks it into two words,"to locate so to identify" Paraphrased English, "identify where the locators are". The locators are the sun moon and stars which are used to locate our place in time, calendation and geographical position. Identify where they are located...outer space.

Abram never sacrificed this item. 3.Texts from Mari in northern Mesopotamia from about the same period say that parties entering into a covenant would seal the agreement by cutting a donkey in half and then walking between the severed pieces. One can infer that Creator made an unconditional covenant when he alone (symbolized by the fire pot, or the fire in it) passed between the two halves of the slaughtered animals. 4. In the year 1743 BCE on Mar 5th, a hybrid solar eclipse occurred in the region where Abram was. The eclipse was only seen in a swath 28km wide and the total eclipse lasted only 9 seconds before the light from the sun began to return. A fire pot is a container, usually earthenware, for carrying fire. Fire pots have been used since prehistoric times to transport fire from one place to another, for warmth while on the move, for cooking, in religious ceremonies and even as weapons of war.

1. This is a significant event. The three animals sacrificed are all symbols of Egyptian deities. Here we have the symbol of the Creator passing across these symbols, paired with a foretelling of Abram's people coming out of a nation that reduces them to servants, with the wealth of that people. Could this be a symbol of the coming time of the Passover in Egypt? 2. The river to regard, the river that other rivers join to. Creator was stating that the land between the Nile and Euphrates rivers was for Abram plus all of the land the rivers that fed the Euphrates ran through. The Bible has these as the peoples of the countries, but no mention is made of people, only of rivers, which apparently were named after the people of the land.

NOTES: With the correct restoration of chapter 15, it became apparent that Abraham was
observing a celestial event. We checked if such an event occurred in the year historians say this story was situated. Here is the time calculation from Jewish sources of when Abram's covenant with Creator took place. On the 15th of Nissan of the year 2018 from creation (1743 BCE) G-d forged a special covenant with Abraham in which the destiny of the Jewish people was foretold: the Holy Land was bequeathed to them as their eternal heritage....
Now remember the above date Mar 5, 1743 B.C.E Not only is this the only eclipse anywhere near this date and geographical position within hundreds of years, but it is also extremely rare. It was a hybrid eclipse that took place in that exact area, visible only in a 20 kilometer width, lasting only 9 seconds for the full eclipse. Knowing that it was an eclipse, it tells us that the event happened 72 hours before the new moon, which would begin the month of Nisan. That puts it at either the 26th or 27th of Adar. We now have a physical marker for a story in Torah that was hidden from view until we restored the section. We now also have an exact and actual time marker around which all other events can be calculated. This is a monumental discovery.
