Fake ID (America Only) Okay, Okay, in light of recent events, ev ents, people asking me to make them ID's, people being stupid, and me having to much time on my hands, I have decided to rite this guide for you, the moronic teenager ho ants to make a fake ID! First let me say everything in this guide is to be taken in a hypothetical sense and none of it is meant to be taken in a literally nor is it meant to be carried out! ou t! Anything you do ith this information is your responsibility and I'm not responsible for you being an idiot and getting arrested! Alright no let's get started! I ill first run don the things that you ill need! I am going to tell you hat you need to make a professional looking state driver license, you may not need all of this but it is hat is needed to make it look real if you don't use something that I tell you to it's your call, your ID may end up looking look ing different than it should! " #hoto editing softare (I personally suggest Adobe #hotoshop $!% or above) " #rior knoledge of #hotoshop is a must " &tate identification template " A scanner if you need to scan a photo of yourself " pson printer (c or %) or a laser printer " *aminator " +eslin +eslin (+ype (+ype of teslin depends on hat kind of printer you have) " agstrip encoder (not a necessity but to make a professional identification card it is needed) +hey're may be other supplies that you need depending on hat state you do, and if it has a hologram, that ill be e-plained later in the article! Okay the first step ould be to get ge t a template. these are readily available in more than one place IF you kno here to look! I being the nice guy that I am ill help you ith that factor! /ust search a search engine (google0) "!google!com or any pp program should be more than sufficient, otherise you may kno somebody ho ill sell them to you or trade them! +here are of course other options. you can make your on, hich of course entails tedious ork, taking days or even eeks! Or you could scan an ID that you already have and edit it that ay! Okay so let's say you have your template and you have #hotoshop, it's time to get crackin'! &o you need to open up #hotoshop, and start editing your information! 1et your picture in the bo- and resi2e the image so you can print! 3hen it comes time to print it may be a bit difficult!
I am going to assume that you are using single sided +eslin! 4ou ill first need to find the coated side of the +eslin paper, no this may take a little bit of e-perience to figure it out! +he correct side is a bit smoother than the other! /ust put it in beteen you fingers and rub the paper until you figure out hat side is smoother, if you can't figure it out it's not a problem, you've got a 5%6 chance of getting it right! 4ou ill kno eather or not it as right after you print for obvious reasons, the ink ill bleed and look really bad! In hich case you 7ust flip it over and print it on another position on the teslin! After you have the right side picked out, you might ant to mark the corner ith a pen! +hen place the teslin in the printer so that it ill print on the correct side 8onfiguring the up +emplate 9o that you are ready to print, you ill need the up +eslin +emplate! 4ou can donload it here! After you donload it, un2ip it and open it in #hotoshop! Open your finished template as ell! :efore you can print, you need to check the resolution of the temp you are using and match the up temp's resolution to it! +o do this, click on the indo of your template to make it active, go to the Image menu and click Image &i2e! *ook at the ;esolution! It should have a number like <%% pi-els=inch! +hat is the D#I of the temp you are using! 9o, sitch over to the up temp that you should already have open! 1o back to Image &i2e under the Image menu! ake sure the ;esolution is the same beteen the to temps! +he up temp I have hosted here on this site is already in <%% D#I, but if you have donloaded it from somehere else in the past (such as :rainstorm ID &upply), it may be in $%%! If it is not the same, type in the number it should be and click O>! #hotoshop ill then convert the up temp to the correct resolution! 8opying and #asting on to the up +emplate Activate the indo of your front template in #hotoshop! ?nder the &elect menu, click all! 1o to the dit menu and click 8opy erged! 4ou should copy it merged since you on't need all those layers 7ust to print! &itch over to the up temp and go back to the dit menu and click #aste! 4ou should no have a ne layer in the up temp containing your front temp! &elect that layer (if it isn't already selected) in the *ayers indo! &elect the ove tool by either clicking on it in the +ools palette or by pressing @! It ill help if you check the bo- ne-t to &ho :ounding :o- at the top! If you don't see this option, go to the 3indo menu and click Options! +here are rectangles on the up temp (hence the name)! Decide here you ant to print the front of the license! 3hen I've got a blank sheet of +eslin, I start by printing the front in the top left! ove the layer to the rectangle here you ant it to print! Do this by
simply dragging it ith the ove tool! It should snap into place inside the rectangle! opefully, it ill be the correct si2e, but if it isn't you may need to resi2e it to fit inside the rectangle by dragging the borders! ;emember ho you checked the &ho :ounding :o- option0 +his is hy! Ad7usting #rint &ettings 8lick #rint under the File menu! 8lick #roperties! 9o you must ad7ust the print settings to match the printer and the +eslin (single or double sided)! ere are some settings that I recommend for the printer that I useB pson % C &ingle &ided +eslin C FrontB " ?nder ode, 8hoose 8ustom " 8lick Advanced " edia +ypeB #hoto #aper " InkB 8olor " #rint ualityB #hoto C %dpi " 8olor anagementB 9o 8olor Ad7ustment " ?ncheck dge &moothing " ?ncheck pson 9atural 8olor pson % C &ingle &ided +eslin C :ackB " ?nder ode, 8hoose 8ustom " 8lick Advanced " edia +ypeB atte #aper C eavyeight " InkB :lack " #rint ualityB #hoto C
" 8heck :lack Ink Only " ?ncheck dge &moothing #rinting the Front After you've ad7usted the settings to your liking, it's time to finish up and print the front! 4ou should still have the #rint indo open, but if not go back to #rint under the File menu! 9o all that is left to do is click O>! /ust sit back and ait because it ill take a fe minutes! After it's done printing, let it dry for a couple of minutes before you touch it! 4ou ouldn't ant to smear the ink on that great looking novelty you 7ust printed, ould you0 #rinting the :ack 9o it's time to do the back! +he procedure is nearly the same as printing the front! +he only differences are here you place the back temp layer on the up temp to print, the side of the +eslin you print on, and (if you are using single sided +eslin) the print settings that you use! Follo the steps in this guide the same ay you did for the front, until the part about placing the layer on the up temp to print! 4ou ill ant to put the back temp in the rectangle that as to the right or left of the rectangle you printed the front temp from! For e-ample, you printed the front temp by placing it in the top left rectangle on the up temp! In this case, you'll ant to put the back temp in the top right rectangle! 4ou ill need to flip over the +eslin so that the back ill print on the opposite side of the front! ?se your common sense, and think about ho the printer feeds the paper through! Ad7ust the print settings if you are using single sided +eslin, or for double sided, check to make sure they are still the same! 9o you are ready to print it! If you did everything right, you should end up ith a front and back that look great and are aligned perfectly (or at least very close)! +he folloing information as borroed from an article ritten by +he /erm +his is a basic guide to encoding the magstripe on driver licenses=ID! First, you need to have an &;%$ magstripe encoder! If you don't have one already you can find them easily through an internet search or e:ay! It'll run you about G$%%! Oka y, no you need some softare! 4ou can donload my program for free at ht"pB==the7erm!%catch!com! I on't cover ho to use the softare here! It's pretty selfCe-planatory but if you run into any problems 7ust read the readme!t-t file that comes ith it! Driver *icense=ID ncoding If you ant to encode an ID there are to ays to go about itB

+hat's about it! 1ood luckP I reali2e this guide is getting a bit long but e're almost done! +he holograms in my opinion are the orst part of the entire process, it may 7ust be me but I am not a big fan of this, for others, it's the e-act opposite, but I ill still give you the information! +here is more than one method to making holograms, and for the sake of time ill not go over them all, maybe in the future I ill make another guide including them all, but for right no I ill 7ust cover one of them! any of you may kno hat method I ill be telling you about, and you're sitting there thinking #hotoH, ell your rong, I don't like it, in fact, I hate it, instead I am going to tell you about an easier, cheaper ay to make your holograms and here it is! ;eferred to as the rubber stamp method the main reason people rule out rubber stamps in this business anymore, is because they think that the only stamps that can be made are the ones you buy at office stores, and only contain letters, numbers, etc! oeverC in most medium si2ed cities, there are stamp shops that are able to produce @;4 highCuality, detailed stamps, for around <%C%G the best ay to get your 8?&+OIHD stamp made is to print out the hologram you ish to be made, ith the e-act si2es! >eep in mind ho you ill be placing the stamp on your medium of choice, be it teslin, lamination, overlam, or hatever! 3hen you print your hologram image outC be sure it's not backardsC and tell the stamp producers this too, so hen you stamp your teslin, overlam, lam!!!etc!!! It shos up facing you, and not like a normal stamp, that ould need to be facing the opposite direction on the actual stamp! loll, I hope this part hasn't confused youC because the first couple of times I had stamps made I had to keep making sure it ould come out right before I took it in! I suggest you give the stamp producers an e-ample of ho you ant it done, on your medium of choice so it comes out right, and not in the opposite direction! +o find the stamp producers that can take in scanned images (your printed out hologram) and make stamps out of themC 7ust look in your yello pages under R;ubber stampsR and call them to make sure they can do this process before you go! Ok, so that as the easy, no talent method for getting great uality rubber stamps! If you are really good = art type stuffC and ant a semiChard challenge, got the art department at your school and kindly ask the teacher if they had some linoleumCprint blocks that you could borro for a pro7ectC along ith the proper chilling tools to cut out the stamp! 1etting these items assumes that you are in high school, and you have an art dept! = these supplies! If notC you could probably 7ust go to an art store and look for the supplies yourself! (As mentioned aboveC you need a &pecial chi22le for linoleum block carving, and the linoleum block itself) although I've never needed to do this beforeC because I'm still in school &mile 9o, ith your hologram image that you need to print out from your computerC cut out the parts of it that are colored in ith an e-acto knife, and leave the hite parts solid! 4ou no have a stencil, basically! Dra this onto the linoleum block, and make sure things look good!!!you may have to do some of the draing ithout the
stencil in the smaller areas, but it's not too difficult once you get the hang of it! After this, carve out the areas on the block here there as hite on the original printout! I suggest using a small tool for thisC so it's easier to get into the little nooks and crannies of the holo! 3hen you get the basic outline of everything around your holo, you no need to put a #@8 id or credit card si2e ob7ect over the holo and place it e-actly here the holo should be on the id, hen you make it! 8arve this blank area out, being sure not to cut into the actual hologram, and after this part is done, you're ready to put the interference gold ink on (I suggest pearlCe- Q boss gloss embossing gelC for stamps) and do this by mi-ing the to things together, putting it all on the cardboard back of a notebook, making sure it gets ell RinkedR then placing your lam, overland, setline's inside over itC so it can be stamped, and then its ready to go! +ake noteC this second method pretty much only orks on the 9/ haloC as its the easiest, least comple- halo out there, hoever you can also make your on RofficialClookingR stamps ith this method too! +he easiest method by far for using stamps is to simply have one made at a stamp shop that can make them from scanned images! If you aren't very familiar ith art &h"t or linoleum block printing I ouldn't attempt the second method! I only included it because I as bored one day during art, and decided to RtakeR a linoleum block and the chi22els, and make myself an 9/ holo! All in all, I prefer this method over # hotoH, because they come out ighCuality and all I have to do is press don the rubber=linoleum stamp on the Rink slabR (back of notebook) and then apply it to the lam, teslin or overland! I hope you'll at least try the first method, as I'm sure you'll find that the results kick a"s! I reali2e this guide got uite long and I apologi2e but I hoped you en7oyed reading it as much as I en7oyed riting it! I ant to thank everyone ho either helped ith this te-t, or created the different methods e-plained throughout the article! Once again be responsible ith the information held out in front of you! I ish you luck ith hatever the future may hold for you! :rought to you by 8rack2ter
