Express Instruction 1. Launch NMS Utility Double click on the NMS shortcut icon on the desktop to launch the NMS utility first.
2. Choose Mode If it has no modem, and connects to repeater directly, directly, it will approach to the Local control Mode.
Or if it connects with the Modem, it will approach to the Remote control Mode.

3. Create Sites Follow the steps in turns to create: Region a.
Right click on the any area of the „Region‟,

Right click on the Region‟China‟, and then click on „Add District‟t o create the District, supposed named as ‟F ujian. ‟

named as‟Xiamen „.
4. Fill Site Information After created the Site, then launch the site information management window for filling. a.
Right click the Site „Xiamen‟, then click the „Equipment Basic Info(I)‟ to launch the Site Information management window. window.

A.1. create site name first as above steps of „3.create site‟. A.2. Set general initial parameters for repeater, the steps as following:
① Select correct Equipment_T Equipment_Type ype as: Digital Band Selective Selective Repeaters system (Do not select WCDMA ,CDMA while while the repeater does not ② Select the GSM,DCS system includes these two systems).
③ Select the „Channel Selective ‟i tem both on GSM and DCS systems. ④ Set Channel Nr as 4 for GSM system (because (because GSM system has 2 tunable sub-bands) , and set Channel Nr as 2 for DCS system (because DCS system has only 1 tunable sub-band) parameters are setting complete, complete, then click the button „Modify(M)‟ ⑤ After all the parameters
⑥ Click the button „Done(D)‟t o finally confirm all the setting.

① Select support system(DCS) ② Set fixed bandwidth for UL Just set the requested central frequency channel number in W1
③ Set 1 tunable sub-band for DL Just set the requested starting channel number in S1 and end channel number in S2
Note: keep the channel switch as default .
