Set the IP Address of your computer according to the IP Address of the Relay. Use the test port 1 (LAN 1) of relay. Take note that only the first three group of numbers should be the same. For example the relay IP Address is 198.120.000.001, the IP Address of your computer should be 198.120.000.002, 198.120.000.255 or any as long as the first three groups of numbers are the same and the last group of numbers is different. 1.a) Checking the IP Address of Re lay.

After a few seconds, the software will ask if you want to replace the CID file. It depends, you may check the “Re place device.cid in device” especially when the function configuration is customized. If function configuration not changed, no need to check especially when the relay is already connected to SCADA. Then click “OK”.
The relay now will start downloading. After successful downloading, an error message will pop-up. This is normal because the software detected that the relay is rebooting.
