BEAUTY PAGEANT INDUSTRY FOUND TO BE LINKED TO HEINOUS CRIMES By: Arnulfo Yu Laniba Agape Foundation (Agasoft) July 2017

Introduction Mga ka-Alumni, kapatid, Kapuso’t Kapamilya, good day to all! Sa di pa mo mobotar sa atong gikaalegrehang Miss Bohol 2017, I ask you to read this twopart expose, that should shake all true Christians and every parent.
This is about my unexpected discovery of the link between BEAUTY PAGEANT AND THE PRESENT SURGE OF HEINOUS CRIMES IN OUR NATION AND NEIGHBORHOOD.
For those who are fond of watching YouTube videos, you might recall of words like "Conspiracy."
Well, I think, this discovery that I had made this week is a kind of conspiracy.
Here I am posting part 1. Read it first, for the 2nd part is the most important and I am finishing it and will be posting it ASAP!
I am going to prove that it is not a mere conspiracy theory but a conspiracy reality. It really happens right in our very own nose -- so close that we cannot see it with our two eyes!
I needed another lens to discover it!
Here is Part 1 -- part is the more important because it is there that I explain the conspiracy that if we remain blind to it, then, we will suffer more from the increasing heinous crimes, instead of putting a stop of them at the very root.

Part 1 BEAUTY PAGEANT DISCOVETED LINKED TO HEINOUS CRIMES MAYRON PA TAYONG IBANG MAS MAHALAGANG PAGUUSAPAN, MGA KAPATID! THIS WILL GIVE A NEW VICTORY FOR US CHRISTIANS, IF WE SUCCEED IN THIS! SO BEAR WITH ME, I WILL MAKE IT AS INTERESTING AND LESS BORING AS I CAN!
Samantha Agarin 19 hrs Porke asawa nh pastor pastora na agad?? Hahaha. So yung doctor. Asawa nya doktora. Hehehe. Pastora namumuno talaga yun sa church.
Sem Queola Wla nabang ibng pudeng Pag usapn? Answer: Mayron Sem! And I tell you, as Born Again Christians, we need to include this one because it all connects to the entire network of our beliefs and faith. I think that if we considered all the mature comments in response to Samantha’s main post, we all now settled and the issue is resolved. 3
My main comment to her post was this: She should reflect the righteousness of her husband, if she is at one with him. But it is not always pastor = wife. There are many cases where wives of ministers do not measure up. But if she is humble, it is acceptable to members not to be "perfect". What is not easily acceptable is when her main weakness is pride. ...which manifest sometimes as "gossip". That’s if what Samantha means was the questionable character of a pastor’s wife that make her unqualified to the honor of a pastor’s wife. But if she was referring to the external title of honor, calling the wife of a pastor pastora just because she is the wife of the pastor, then, the following comment should suffice: Me-lyn Apolinario Fabila: Pastor's wife ang twag dyan..pwede nman hindi mo sya tawaging pastura, pwede nman kapatid ang twag sknya..maliit na bagay..hindi nman isue yan. Mali lng pagka understand, bka namis interprit lng… Hehehe. Daming kalokohan e. My closing comments: Let us allow everyone call her any title as long as it is of respect: Pastora, Maam, Sister, Ate, etc. The Pastor (husband) may do well as well if he will not impose the title “pastora”. But some member will call her that, especially because her character reflects that of her good husband, then, so be it. She deserves it. But if after being called pastora, or after the whole membership are being ordered to call her pastora at the moment when she is not reflecting the 4
traits of a good pastor’s wife, but merely wanted the vain honor of being called “pastora” to further satisfy her thirst for fame, then, for sure, that is not good and every thinking member may help correct her by, say, changing their title to “ate,” or “maam.” Respect can still resolve this issue, and help her learn humility. It will be according to our own discretion, respect and love. Now, in the light of our desire and purpose of this blog “to learn and to grow”, may I answer Sem Queola who asked, “Wla nabang ibng pudeng Pag usapn?” Mayroon Sem. More than a million topics that affects our Christian faith and living. But I will lead you to a more current one where a few of us, including brother Salvio Rufiño had started discussing the other day.
5
I did not expect I would go this far and this deep regarding this topic which I had not intention to get involved in such a depth: the entry of my younger daughter as the official candidate of our town Jagna for Miss Bohol 2017 tonight! Well, if that is only for material vanity, I would already pose here and exit. But I discover something that I did not expect to see. To make you interested to finish this short discussion, which fits this spiritual facebook page, my discovery is: MASS MEDIA INCLUDING BEAUTY PAGEANT = RAPES, MURDERS, and other heinous crimes. When I told that to my wife after she arrived from Tagbilaran City, she reacted with a great worry, and said, “That may be so, as you discover, but if you will tell that to the voters, you will immediately receive a thumbs down vote and Andrea will lose in the votation.” Three days ago, Andrea, our daughter, was leading by 1,500 votes over the second highest votes getter, Miss Bilar. That lead was a hard work for us, taking us many days to achieve. Honestly often requires hard work. Then, the next day, I think it was Wednesday, we were aghast to see Miss Bilar got over 700 votes, something she could not in the past days. When that became consistent and yesterday, Miss Bilar overtook Andrea by 500 votes, many of us were thinking of “dayaan”. Bilar is a small town, including by population. When Miss Bilar got 400 votes in just an hour, the more of us became convinced that something fishing was going on with the technology called computer and internet. As we know about PCOS and other past elections, this is not far-fetched. It is possible. But I told my worried relatives and friends that there is also a possibility, though small it is, that they got the big votes honestly. So, I told them to stick to honesty, win or lose. Now, here is the more interesting and worrisome story: 6
As in any election, you sell either yourself or your idea (e.g., vision, plan, platform, etc.) or both. For the immature, it is more on selling self, regardless of whether or not that candidate has a good plan for his/her voters afterwards. For the most immature, it is vote buying. But for the maturing, it is more on whether or not the candidate as a good idea (solution and plan) and whether he/she has the character to carry it out. So, it is selling both your what you have in mind and what you have in heart (character). I can tell you I am very knowledgeable in this arena (elections, politics), (and I will make it interesting so you will finish reading this!) – I am experienced in leadership and politics since I was class mayor starting Grade 1 (1974) all the way up to high school almost without interruption, and KB chairman in my teenager period, then, as first senator in our college student government, then, as the next KB Federation/Town chairman had I not refused to their (mayor, ABC president who was our own barangay captain, and my father, who was the DILG head) dishonest means (round up all KB chairmen, house them in a hotel, offer them money and threaten those who won’t vote), the usual tactic of the day, I might be greater than or equal to former governor/ congressman Rene Relampagos, who was the one defeated by my “inferior” replacement during that historic KB Federation election -- so, the political handlers got loose of me, but I still went on as independent election candidates in both barangay and municipal elections. When my uncle run for vice governor and my other friends for different positions in both municipal, provincial and congressional positions, I was among the main planner and/or campaigners. So, I have experience and wisdom in hand, regarding election.
7
My last exhaustive and intensive engagement in politics was the last presidential election where I volunteered as online nation-wide election strategist and online campaigner for president Duterte. It has its own interesting story but suffice to say that I was among those who worked diligently with the OFWs, professionals, fellow businessmen et al to warn them of impending huge dayaan using the PCOS and the internet (I have computer programming background, so I understood the mechanics) AND THAT WE NEED TO ACHIEVE MASSIVE VOTES TO NEUTRALIZE THE ELECTRONIC BAWAS-DAGDAG METHOD THAT THEY HAD LET THE PROGRAMMER TO INSERT INTO THE COUNTING MACHINES TO ENSURE THAT MAR ROXAS WOULD WIN AND DUTERTE WOULD LOSE. Not known to the people how many votes actually were stolen, but our estimate was 10 million was stolen by PCOS from the total votes of Duterte and transferred to Mar Roxas. So in total, Duterte’s votes should be 26 million, not 16 million. This kind of think can happen to the ongoing Miss Bohol 2017 that will culminate this evening, July 22, 2017, the pageant to start at 8:00 p.m. I too smell something fishy, not because my daughter is getting overtaken in her votes that used to be the leading in the previous days. From a lead of 1,500 votes, she is now behind by no less than 500 votes. This is already very difficult to catch up, basing on honest votes we have had. But if this group Born Again Christians, with its 331,700 members, would intervene, O my God! NOT ONLY ANDREA WILL WIN BUT THE WHOLE CHRISTIANITY WILL WIN! Here is what I mean, and I really mean it. Di ba sabi ko, in the last two days of my online campaign for Andrea, I discovered and concluded that the present mass media including the current Miss Beauty Pageants everywhere else in the world = heinous crimes, did not I? 8
And that my wife anxiously stop me from saying it online, otherwise I would offend the voters, get them angry at me, and cause them to stop their daily voting for Andrea for the last 2 crucial days, yesterday and today. My wife considered that conclusion too heavy for everybody… too accusing… too cruel even. Imagine, BEAUTY PAGEANT IS THE CAUSE OF HEINOUS CRIMES OF RAPE AND MURDERS? What is my proof? My solid evidence? I will continue to make this interesting and threatening story that took place in just these past few weeks until yesterday… I was on a journey to deeper understanding and discovery of the root cause of heinous crimes and also drug addiction…. A discovery that I did not anticipate, as most discoveries are, of course! (I will post this now so you can start reading and then, continue the other half of this as you read this first half posted… this is spiritual topic on Christian living… on living our Christian faith… in the area of beauty and treasure/ wealth… two interesting topics of women as well as men, aren’t they? For who is not interested of beauty and wealth in this difficult times? So, I ask you, hold on, keep reading for this shall lead us to some gems we never dreamed of!) Keep watch for the second part...IT IS ABOUT A GREAT DISCOVERY ABOUT OUR MISS BEAUTY PAGEANTS INDUSTRY AND HOW IT IS INVOLVED IN HEINOUS CRIMES, SUCH AS RAPES AND MURDERS!
9
PART 2: BEAUTY PAGEANT DISCOVERED LINKED TO HEINOUS CRIMES He, he, I did not mean Beauty Pageant contestants and candidates did the heinous crimes of rape and murder! And I did not mean Beauty Pageant or physical beauty is evil per se. Before I will go far in this last part, I want to make it clear that PHYSICAL BEAUTY IS NOT EVIL FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT GOD CREATED IT TOO, AS HE CREATED THE INNER BEAUTY OF THE MIND AND HEART. There are three beauties I have often enumerated in my various discussions in the internet, especially during our campaign for Andrea’s victory in today’s beauty pageant, to be held tonight (July 22, 2017 at 8 p.m., Tagbilaran City, Bohol). What I really mean is this: A good thing, if it is a part of a whole thing, might become harmful if not balanced with the other components that make up the whole. Take note, if it is only a part, and not the whole. For example: the two wheels of your motorcycle. To consider them to be the whole motorcycle and so remove the other parts, or ignore them, is to be funny foolish! Imagine driving on two wheels, literally, without the other components! No seats, no body of the vehicle, nothing else but the two round wheels! Or try to consider the floor as the whole house and you remove or do away will all other parts of the house which is not a floor! Or consider considering your face as the whole body, and removing all other parts because you think that only the face makes up your body! Ha ha ha!

That makes our current BEAUTY PAGEANTS, both funny and scary! Interesting, isn’t it? It is exactly what the old story of 4 blind men told to touch an elephant and describe what an elephant is. Let’s get Wikipedia to assist us in this story or parable: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Blind Men Appraising an Elephantby Ohara Donshu, Edo Period (early 19th century), Brooklyn Museum

Blind men and elephant
The parable of the blind men and an elephant originated in ancient Indian subcontinent, from where it has widely diffused. It is a story of a group of blind men who have never come across an elephant before, learn and conceptualize what the elephant is like by touching it. Each blind man feels a different part of the elephant body, but only one part, such as the side or the tusk. They then describe the elephant based on their partial experience and their descriptions are in complete disagreement on what an elephant is. In some versions they come to suspect that the other person is dishonest and they come to blows. The moral of the parable is that humans have a tendency to project their partial experiences as the whole truth, ignore other people's partial experiences, and one should consider that one may be partially right and may have partial information.[1][2]
12
The earliest versions of the parable of blind men and elephant is found in Buddhist, Hindu and Jain texts, as they discuss the limits of perception and the importance of complete context. The parable has several Indian variations, but broadly goes as follows:[6][7] A group of blind men heard that a strange animal, called an elephant, had been brought to the town, but none of them were aware of its shape and form. Out of curiosity, they said: "We must inspect and know it by touch, of which we are capable". So, they sought it out, and when they found it they groped about it. In the case of the first person, whose hand landed on the trunk, said "This being is like a thick snake". For another one whose hand reached its ear, it seemed like a kind of fan. As for another person, whose hand was upon its leg, said, the elephant is a pillar like a tree-trunk. The blind man who placed his hand upon its side said, "elephant is a wall". Another who felt its tail, described it as a rope. The last felt its tusk, stating the elephant is that which is hard, smooth and like a spear.
In some versions, the blind men then discover their disagreements, suspect the others to be not telling the truth and come to blows. The stories also differ primarily in how the elephant's body parts are described, how violent the conflict becomes and how (or if) the conflict among the men and their perspectives is resolved. In some versions, they stop talking, start listening and collaborate to "see" the full elephant. In another, a sighted man enters the parable and describes the entire elephant from various perspectives, the blind men then learn that they were all partially correct and partially 13
wrong. While one's subjective experience is true, it may not be the totality of truth.[4][6] The parable has been used to illustrate a range of truths and fallacies; broadly, the parable implies that one's subjective experience can be true, but that such experience is inherently limited by its failure to account for other truths or a totality of truth. At various times the parable has provided insight into the relativism, opaqueness or inexpressible nature of truth, the behavior of experts in fields where there is a deficit or inaccessibility of information, the need for communication, and respect for different perspectives. One of the most famous versions of the 19th century was the poem "The Blind Men and the Elephant" by John Godfrey Saxe (1816–1887).
And so these men of Indostan Disputed loud and long, Each in his own opinion Exceeding stiff and strong, Though each was partly in the right And all were in the wrong!
The poem begins: It was six men of Indostan To learning much inclined, Who went to see the Elephant (Though all of them were blind),
14
That each by observation Might satisfy his mind[19] Each in his own opinion concludes that the elephant is like a wall, snake, spear, tree, fan or rope, depending upon where they had touched. Their heated debate comes short of physical violence, but the conflict is never resolved. Moral: So oft in theologic wars, The disputants, I ween, Rail on in utter ignorance Of what each other mean, And prate about an Elephant Not one of them has seen! Natalie Merchant sang this poem in full on her Leave Your Sleep album (Disc 1, track 13).
Modern treatments[edit] The story is seen as a metaphor in many disciplines, being pressed into service as an analogy in fields well beyond the traditional. In physics, it has been seen as an analogy for the wave–particle duality.[20] In biology, the way the blind men hold onto different parts of the elephant has been seen as a good analogy for the Polyclonal B cell response.[21]
"Blind men and elephant", from Martha Adelaide Holton & Charles Madison Curry, Holton-Curry readers, 1914.
The fable is one of a number of tales that cast light on the response of hearers or readers to the story itself. Idries Shah has commented on this element of self-
15
reference in the many interpretations of the story, and its function as a teaching story: ...people address themselves to this story in one or more [...] interpretations. They then accept or reject them. Now they can feel happy; they have arrived at an opinion about the matter. According to their conditioning they produce the answer. Now look at their answers. Some will say that this is a fascinating and touching allegory of the presence of God. Others will say that it is showing people how stupid mankind can be. Some say it is anti-scholastic. Others that it is just a tale copied by Rumi from Sanai – and so on.[22] Shah adapted the tale in his book The Dermis Probe. This version begins with a conference of scientists, from different fields of expertise, presenting their conflicting conclusions on the material upon which a camera is focused. As the camera slowly zooms out it gradually becomes clear that the material under examination is the hide of an African elephant. The words 'The Parts Are Greater Than The Whole' then appear on the screen. This retelling formed the script for a short four-minute film by the animator Richard Williams. The film was chosen as an Outstanding Film of the Year and was exhibited at the London and New York film festivals.[23] The story enjoys a continuing appeal, as shown by the number of illustrated children's books of the fable; there is one for instance by Paul Galdone and another, Seven Blind Mice, by Ed Young (1992). In the title cartoon of one of his books, cartoonist Sam Gross postulated that one of the blind men, encountering a pile of the elephant's fewmets, concluded that "An elephant is soft and mushy." An elephant joke inverts the story in the following way: Six blind elephants were discussing what men were like. After arguing they decided to find one and determine what it was like by direct experience. The first blind elephant felt the man and declared, 'Men are flat.' After the other blind elephants felt the man, they agreed. Moral: "We have to remember that what we observe is not nature in itself, but nature exposed to our method of questioning." - Werner Heisenberg

So, all is talking about the danger as well as the fun of being incomplete!
17
18
Yes, the more intelligent will we become if we can finish this part 2. Part Two to be continued a few seconds from now… ****
19
The mistake of current Beauty Pageant industry: EXCLUDING THE INNER BEAUTY CAUSES CURRENT BEAUTY PAGEANT INDUSTRY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DESECREATION (DEVALUATION) OF THE TWO INNER BEAUTY OF THE MIND AND HEART (WISDOM AND LOVE) AND RESULTED TO THE EROSION OF MORALITY WHICH CREATED THE PRESENT SOCIETY WHERE ONLY PHYSICAL BEAUTY AND MATERIAL WEALTH IS CONSIDER BEAUTY AND WEALTH… WHICH HAS LED TO THE LOSS OF THE BEAUTIFUL (LOVING, GENTLE, KIND) HEART AND THE EMERGENCE OF CRUEL, LUSTFUL HEARTS SUCH AS THOSE FOUND INSIDE RAPISTS, AND ALSO WIVES OF RICH MEN, ETC. That is the mistake… that is also shown as very harmful and dangerous. As dangerous sa using two wheels to compose your motorcycle and throwing all other parts which are not wheels – as dangerous and funny as the person who consider her face as the only part of the body! Part Two to be continued a few seconds from now…
20
Similar to the story of the 4 blind men and the elephant, the present Beauty Pageant search or contest is like the motorcycle that is made up of two wheels only, no other parts! The present Beauty Pageant search or contest is like the human body that is made up of face only, no other parts! Why? Because, intentionally or unintentionally, the two inner components of beauty (love in the heart and wisdom in the mind) are undermined, excluded, not promoted, hence, suppressed, while the physical beauty is being overly emphasized and promoted… and this is the danger: what is promoted by the mass media becomes overtime the value of society or of the next generation. This is very true to this incoming generation than the previous. It has become true that physical beauty is either the only or the most important value among the youth and people in this country. This is wrong. It is a lie to say, and more dangerous to live your life based on the false belief that physical beauty is the only or the most important beauty and that material wealth is the only or the most important wealth. This is where the one-sided bias Miss Beauty Pageant is contributing to the loss of the inner values (love, compassion of the heart and wisdom of the mind) which resulted to the heart’s beauty being replaced by ugliness (lust, greed, cruelty, mercilessness) – the ugliness that we can find among those who rape and kill their victims! Why Maria Andrea Cuarteros Laniba is the better bet?
21
AS I repeatedly said everywhere, everyone of us, hero or ordinary, leader or follower, model or miss Beauty Pageant, comes in package or a team. Behind your accomplishment or greatness, is a team of guide, tutors, motivators, cheerers, inspirers, etc. It is not different with Andrea. Andrea happens to belong to a package (family and team) who is realizing the lost value, the lost beauties and the lost wealth of the mind and heart. WE will spearhead to the perfecting of the one-sided Beauty Pageant which ought to be 3-sided: heart, mind and body. Or emotional (spiritual), mental (spiritual) and physical. Here is what we have used as campaign for her: Hello Bohol! This is Maria Andrea, if I win the Miss Bohol 2017 Beauty Pageant, I will... •
copy Ma’am Gina Lopez, lover of Mother Earth and protector of the Environment. • •
I will help campaign for RESPONSIBLE & CHRISTIAN MINING OPERATION which is like this:
To convert mined areas into fertile fields by creating terraces and refilling them with new soil, instead of the old practice of abandoning the area to become a desert full of toxins! • For according to environmentalist lawyer Raul Barbarona, “the happy days for workers in mining is during its 30 years of operation; after that, is the reality of a land devoid of its soil and fertility and life. Not even a bird can survive in such a man-made desert full of toxins!” 22
•
30 years of abundance in favor of a long future of poverty. This is not wise.
•
So, I will campaign for true wisdom, which Proverbs 4 praises as “supreme”. For true wisdom is the beauty of the mind and beauty of the mind is part of PERFECT BEAUTY. *** Promote PERFECT BEAUTY.
And PERFECT BEAUTY is COMPLETE BEAUTY and is composed of at least three beauties: beauty of the mind (wisdom), beauty of the heart (love) and physical beauty. I will campaign for beauty of the mind as part of true and complete beauty…so we will no longer prefer 30 years of negligent mining feast to lasting survival in a rich environment. I will campaign for true wisdom in mining operations to ensure the beauty of Mother Nature and the richness of her environment is preserved, even enhanced. That is what I will urge all my fellow women to teach and lead their children so the natural disasters will cease and the weather will be gentle again… paving the way for a more beautiful world, Paradise Restored! *** I will restore beauty of the heart (love and compassion) back to its throne. Compassionate love (divine love) is the real queen. Selfish or lustful love has to vacate the throne. It does not belong to her. As a Miss Beauty Pageant, I will tell all people and all children that: Perfect Beauty is complete of three, namely: Beauty of the heart which is gentle and compassionate love as the first and the most important. Beauty of the mind or beautiful wise ideas (wisdom) as second beauty. 23
And third, physical beauty. I will make all realize that neglecting anyone of them has bitter consequences. I am going to prove beyond doubt that what we have done, as a people, neglecting or devaluing the two inner beauties of love and wisdom, is the main cause why people are losing their inner beauties and why they are becoming ugly – very ugly – in their hearts (character) and mind (thoughts and decisions). Those are the three beauties in their right order and importance. That I, Maria Andrea, shall promote, win or loss! Good morning Bohol! And see you tonight at Bohol Wisdom Gymnasium at 8:00 p.m!
