AVIAT NETWORKS CTR 8440 TRANSPORT TR ANSPORT ROUTER
The CTR 8440 is a highly compact, full featured L2/L3 transport router for wireline and wireless networks. It combines high performance Carrier Ethernet & IP/MPLS switching and routing, along with TDM services aggregation, in a compact 1RU platform.
FULL FEATURED L2/L3 TRANSPORT ROUTER
The CTR 8440 is a single platform for true services convergence, offering the flexibility for seamless networking across both wireless and wireline networks. The CTR 8440 eliminates having to deploy several platform variants for sites that are either fiber, copper or microwave connected, pro viding a rich suite of high performance TDM/Pseudowire, Carrier Ethernet and IP/MPLS services. By eliminating the multiple variants, operators can reduce the complexity of their equipment stack, installation and maintenance logistics and avoid multiple points of failure. The CTR 8440 can provide these efficiencies immediately for wireline or wireless operators alike.
