Latar Belakang Di suatu pabrik ada 5 (lima) beban listrik, yaitu 25 KVA, 45 KVA, 55 KVA, 35 KVA, dan 15 KVA, yang masing-masing mempunyai karakteristik biner, ADA atau TIDAK (0 (0 KVA). Beban-beban tersebut dicatu oleh 3 (tiga) Genset (generator set) dengan kapasitas masing-masing masing-masing G1 = 50 KVA, G2 = 50 KVA, dan G3 = 100 KVA.
Perumusan Masalah Bagaimana membuat
rangkaian logika kombinatorial kombinatorial untuk melaksanakan
kebijakan penyalaan Genset-Genset tersebut yang ditunjukkan pada tabel berikut ini?
Teori Rangkaian kontrol Genset
Rangkaian kontrol Genset merupakan sebuah rangkaian yang berfungsi untuk mengendalikan atau mengatur pembagian tugas genset sesuai dengan kebijakan yang telah dibuat yaitu sesuai dengan pembagian beban yang telah ditetapkan.

1. Gerbang Logika OR
Gerbang OR adalah suatu suatu rangkaian logika yang yang mempunyai satu output output dan dua atau lebih output dimana output dari gerbang logika OR akan mempunyai nilai 1 apabila satu atau lebih inputnya mempunyai mempunyai nilai 1. Perilaku gerbang OR dapat dianalogikan dengan lampu yang dipasang saklar secara permanen, dimana bila salah satu saklar terhubung maka lampu langsung menyala tanpa menunggu saklar yang yang lain terhubung.Sifat gerbang OR OR penjumlahan. Gerbang logika AND merupakan
gerbang yang memiliki sifat sifat keluaran keluaran
mengalikan antara masukan yang satu dengan yang lain sehingga hanya ada satu keluaran dari hasil kali perkalian tersebut. Operasi dari gerbang ini menghasilkan keluaran 1 jika dan hanya jika inputnya 1, ketika satu inputnya 1 dan input lain juga 1 maka keluarannya 1. Salah satu atau semua input bernilai 0 maka hasil keluarannyapun 0 menurut Thomas L Floyed Floyed dalam bukunya bukunya digital fundamental. Gerbang AND biasanya disimbolkan dengan gambar berikut ini

3. Gerbang Logika NOT
Gerbang NOT atau juga bisa disebut dengan pembalik ( inverter ) memiliki fungsi membalik logika tegangan input nya input nya pada output nya. nya. Membalik dalam hal ini adalah mengubah menjadi lawannya. Karena dalam logika tegangan hanya ada dua kondisi yaitu tinggi dan rendah atau satu dan nol, maka membalik logika tegangan berarti mengubah satu menjadi nol atau sebaliknya mengubah nol menjadi m enjadi satu. POS (Product Of Sum – term) -Mengalikan semua MAXTERM II M
(MAXTERMs)

Prinsip Penyederhanaan K-Map Tetangga sel -Tetangga suatu sel adalah sel sel yang bersebelahan secara kolom atau baris atau kedalaman (pada 3 dimensi) -sel sel diagonal bukan tetangga -Setiap sel yang bertetangga hanya berbeda (hamming distance) satu literal (bit). -Setiap sel memiliki maksimum 6 tetangga t etangga Pengelompokan sel Kelompokan sel yang bertetangga sebanyak 2 n (n= 0,1,2,….) maka akan mengeliminasi sebanyak n-literal. -
1 sel sel (tanpa tetangga tetangga yang sama outputnya) = tidak mengeliminasi literal apapun

Output (LED/Genset) akan off jika output dari gerbang AND tegangannya antara 0,14 – 0,17 dan on jika tegangannya berkisar antara 3,35 – 3,49.
