Adverbios de frecuencia
Estos adverbios nos indican la periodicidad con la que se realiza una acción. ¿Para saberlo, preguntamos “how often?" often? " (always, never, often, once a day). El presente simple se usa para indicar acciones que son habituales o acciones que ocurren pero no necesariamente en el momento en que se habla. Por ejemplo: I go shopping with my friends – Voy de compras con mis amigos (Esto significa que voy
con ellos regularmente o de vez en cuando; no necesariamente ahora mismo)
También debemos tomar en cuenta que cuando se trata de terceras personas (He,She, It) los verbos tienen que ser terminados con " s" o "es" esto varía según el verbo que se trate.

EL PRESENTE CONTINUO EN INGLÉS
El presente continuo es un tiempo verbal que indica una acción que está ocurriendo en e l momento en que se habla. Es bastante parecido a, por ejemplo, ‘comiendo’, ‘caminando’, ‘diciendo’, etc. En el inglés coloquial significa también algo que va a ocurrir muy pronto. Veamos ahora unos ejemplos: I am studying for my exam – Estoy estudiando para mi examen
1.- Regla general del gerundio:
Básicamente (y de forma generalizada) el gerundio se forma agregando la terminación "-ing" al verbo: Ejemplos: watch / watching speak / speaking pay / paying eat / eating
2.- Verbos que terminan en letra “ -e” Verbos que terminen en la letra "-e" se les va a quitar esta letra y agregar terminación "-ing": Ejemplos: have / having write / writing dance / dancing drive / driving smile / smiling
3.- Casos específicos Verbos en donde se dobla la consonante final y se agrega terminación "-ing" (casos concretos): Ejemplos: run / running (correr / corriendo) swim / swimming (nadar / nadando) stop / stopping plan / planning
(detener / deteniendo) (planear / planeando)
Nota: De estos ejemplos se podría pensar que todos aquellos verbos que terminen en vocal + consonante se tiene que seguir esta gra mática pero esto no es necesariamente cierto, ahí están los verbos “speak”, “pay” & “eat” que tienen esa característica pero no se sigue la regla sino la general.

Uso del verbo imperativo:
El imperativo en inglés hace referencia a la segunda persona del singular o del plural. El sujeto implícito de las frases imperativas es, en general, you, aunque éste no se expresa. Aún así, existe una estructura imperativa ( let + pronombre+ infinitivo sin to ) que nos permite hacer referencia a la primera o tercera persona:
