1. ALCANCE
El alcance de este documento es proporcionar el procedimiento que se describe paso a paso de cómo realizarla actualización del equipo ALCplus2. 2. HERRAMIENTAS NECESITADAS
Un PC equipado con SCT o Cónsola de software WebLCT (WLC) Carpetas de la versión de software: n40010.dwl: (contenido en la carpeta N40010-01_40X ) Webs_18_N96106_1.4.X.zip : (contenido en la carpeta WebLCT_N96106-01_40X)
Las versiones de las carpetas arriba mencionadas pudieran contener un archivo de distribución donde X depende de la versión distribuida). 3. ADVERTENCIAS
Antes de proceder a actualizar, se tiene que verificar la versión corriendo en el equipo contra la provista. Si la versión que está corriendo es menor que la provista, se puede proceder a realizar la actualización, si por el contrario, si la versión que está corriendo es superior a la provista no debe realizarse la actualización. La actualización de firmware debe hacerse con conexión al equipo y nunca debe ser interrumpida. 3.1 Tiempo del Proceso Carga de release de cada bench, remoto aprox. 15 min c/u Carga de release de cada bench, local aprox. 10 min c/u Carga de WebLct Remoto aprox. 3 a 5 min Carga de WebLct local aprox. 1 a 3 min Tiempo total de actualización de release para ambos radios, 1 hora y 15 min aprox. 3.2 Tiempo de Afectación Remoto luego del cambio de bench de 3 a 5 min aprox. Local luego del cambio de bench de 3 a 5 min aprox.

4. PROCEDIMIENTO
4.1 Procedimiento de revision de release: Cuando se tenga conexión con el equipo y se tenga en el SCT la gestión sobre ambos equipos se procederá a chequear la versión de release existente en dichos equipos, para verificar si se puede realizar la actualización o no. Para ello seleccionamos el radio que queremos verificar y seleccionamos con botón derecho sobre la selección y escogemos la opción version como se muestra a continuación:
Al seleccionar version el siguiente menú aparecerá en la pantalla:

En el menú podemos apreciar varias variantes, como por ejemplo, la versión del release que actualmente está corriendo en el radio, se aprecian que existen 2 bancos de memoria, bench 1 y bench 2 (1 y 2), así como la opción para actualizarla en el botón Download SW Setup (3) y el botón para hacer cambio de bench en B e n c h S w i t c h (4). En el caso presentado observamos que la versión existente en ambos bench es la N40010 01.01.01, para saber qué banco está trabajando y cual está en standby se puede apreciar en cada banco, cuando se lee Loaded (5), este banco está en standby, cuando se lee Running (6), este banco está activo y corriendo en el radio. En el ejemplo se puede ver que el bench 1 está Loaded , significa que está en standby, y el bench 2 está en Running , por lo tanto es el banco activo y funcionando. 4.2 Carga de Release: Luego de la verificación del release, podemos encontrar que la versión existente es inferior a la proporcionada actualmente n40010 01.01.01 para el radio local y n40010 01.01.04 para el radio remoto vs. N40010 01.04.05 que tenemos disponible, por lo tanto la actualización procede a hacerse. Si se va a realizar la actualización en un enlace en funcionamiento, lo mejor es realizar primero la carga del bench en Loaded del radio remoto, luego realizar cambio de bench, este proceso reinicia el radio y hay afectación de servicio de 3 a 5 min, luego realizar la carga del bench Loaded del radio local, y realizar cambio de bench, en este proceso se reinicia el radio para cargar con el nuevo release y hay afectación de servicio de 3 a 5 min, mientras el radio levanta, luego en la carga de los otros 2 banco y el weblct no hay afectación. Para realizar la actualización, procedemos a seleccionar el botón D o w n l o a d S W S e t u p (3), y aparecerá la ventana a continuación:

condiciones previas procedemos a seleccionar el botón … (9) para buscar la carpeta y cargar el archivo n40010.dwl, al seleccionarnos se nos habilita el botón start (10), y se puede ver en la línea de Download file path que está la dirección del archivo a cargar. Se procede a seleccionar el botón start (10), aparecerá un cuadro de selección preguntando si está seguro a proceder a la descarga Proceed to download? (11).

Luego que se complete toda la carga, proceso que dura en el lado remoto aproximadamente 15 min para cada banco y para el lado local 10 min, podrá verse una ventana como la siguiente donde se puede apreciar la nueva versión de bench Loaded, como se muestra a continuación:
Para conmutar los bancos y que el radio levante con la nueva versión se procede a seleccionar el botón bench switch, el cual realiza una conmutación del banco, este proceso dura entre 3 a 5 min y existe afectación del tráfico que está pasando por el radio, en dicho proceso se pierde gestión sobre el radio remoto. Procedemos a realizar el mismo proceso del lado del radio local, se realiza los mismos pasos anteriores, luego de terminar la carga se procede a realizar bench switch en el radio local, este proceso dura entre 3 a 5 minutos y existe afectación de tráfico.

Luego de retomar la gestión de ambos radios, se procede a cargar el otro banco del radio remoto, y luego del lado local, realizando el mismo proceso descrito anteriormente pero esta vez sin realizar el cambio de bench obteniendo una pantalla final como la siguiente:
Se puede apreciar que en ambos radios y en ambos bench de cada radio se observa la versión nueva instalada n40010 01.04.05, y se puede observar que el bench está corriendo con la versión actualizada.

4.3 Actualización del WebLCT Para realizar la actualización del WebLCT se necesita entrar a la versión web del radio, bien sea por un browser o por el SCT. Se procederá a cargar el WebLCT del radio remoto primero, al entrar a la opción web del radio se observa el siguiente menú:
Seleccionar la opción Software info & Maintenance, luego aparecerá otra ventana como la mostrada a continuación:

Seleccionamos la pestaña Web LCT, en dicha pestaña podemos observar la versión actual del WebLCT, en este caso 01.01.02 contra la versión disponible 01.04.00, la cual es más actual y procederemos a actualizar el WebLCT. Seleccionamos el botón Browse el cual despliega una nueva ventana de selección de archivo para buscar Webs_18_N96106_1.4.0, como la ventana a continuación:
Se busca el archivo en la carpeta donde se almacena y se procede a seleccionarlo, al realizar esta opción, se regresa a la ventana anterior con unos cambios como los mostrados a continuación:

En dicha ventana se puede observar que está disponible el archivo Webs_18_N96106_1.4.0.tar para ser cargado al radio, y se activa el botón Upload y se desactiva el botón Browse, luego de verificar que esté listo para cargar el archivo, se procede a seleccionar el botón Upload habilitado, sale una ventana solicitando la aprobación de la carga, se aplica ok y se procede a la carga del archivo, como se muestra a continuación:
En la ventana podemos observar una barra de progresión de la carga del archivo, al concluir la carga procedemos a cerrar la ventana y abrirla de nuevo desde el SCT o desde el web brower, para verificar que la actualización haya sido correcta, como se muestra en la siguente ventana:

En dichas ventanas podemos revisar tanto la actualización del firmware a la última versión como la actualización del WebLCT a la versión que acabamos de actualizar, al comprobar que todo está correctamente actualizado podemos realizar la actualización del WebLCT del lado local, realizando los mismo pasos descritos anteriormente, todas estas actualizaciones no representan afectación de servicio, al finalizar la actualización del lado local podemos revisar que toda la actualización tanto del release y del weblct haya sido satisfactoriamente realizado, dando por concluido el proceso de actualización.
