BUILDING BLOCK BUILDER Start the Solution Builder transaction on the SAP S/4HANA on-premise system. Select a Best Practice process and view the associated content. Select a process in the US best practice content such as “US_BD9_OP” (“Sales Order Processing: Sales form Stock”) and not the selection flag “Relevant for Scoping” and mrk the ‘parent Best Practice’ that this process is listed within as a Favorite. Open the Implementation Assistant and select the process scope item. Open the “Building Block Builder” , select (1) the Solution, (2) the Scope Item/process, (3) one of the building Blocks associated with that Scope item, open the configuration folder, and select a Customizing activity. This provides the Customizing information in a panel below the ‘solution-scope-block columns’ – with (4) Solution Specific information.

If you want to follow a Fiori Application link in the best practice content elements, you will need to change the selected system role (in the ‘global area’ of the screen from “Evaluation System” to “Evaluation System (Fiori)”
The Best Practices content is available in the SAP S/4HANA system and the project architect may want to check what content has been activated. This exercise will use the following areas of SOLUTION BUILDER:

BUILDING BLOCK BUILDER Start the Solution Builder transaction on the SAP S/4HANA on-premise system. Log on to the SAP S/4HANA system (System T42, Client 400) with user ACT-nn.

Open the transaction /SMB/BBI . The favorite may need to be added to the entry screen.

Select a Best Practice process and view the associated content. Select a process in the US best practice content such as “US_BD9_OP” (“Sales Order Processing: Sales form Stock”) and not the selection flag “Relevant for Scoping” and mrk the ‘parent Best Practice’ that this process is listed within as a Favorite. Select the process.

Mark the ‘parent Best Practice’ that this process is listed within as a Favorite.
Open the Implementation Assistant and select the process scope item. Open the Implementation Assistant using the button near the top of the ‘Solution Builder – Solution Editor’ screen) and select the process scope item (for example. “US_BD9_OP Sales Order Processing: Sale from stock”)

Note: The Building Block Library on the right is shows the list of all Building blocks in scope for that best practice solution – not just that scope item / process. Open the hierarchy in the Scope Items structure (on left to see the building blocks associated with the selected process); these should be familiar after seeing the content in SolMan.
Open the “Building Block Builder” , select (1) the Solution, (2) the Scope Item/process, (3) one of the building Blocks associated with that Scope item, open the configuration folder, and select a Customizing activity. This provides the Customizing information in a panel below the ‘solution-scope-block columns’ – with (4) Solution Specific information.
