Solution: Given the information in the question, the employee will not be doing either low or high voltage electrical work, therefore a Class G (generally used with low voltage electrical) or Class E (“electrical” used with high voltage electrical work) would not be the best option. Class C, “conductive” hard hat would be the best option. Class C hard hats are for use in areas or tasks that do not involve electrical work. The correct solution is B.
