Play Track 20. Explain that students will hear people hum parts of a radio interview. They should listen to the intonation and decide whether it is a question, an answer or an instruction.

Direct students’ attention to the intonation used when asking and answering questions, and to the intonation used in the advertisement. Next, have them repeat the sentences imitating each intonation.
