admin January 27, 2014 at 5:24 pm hello Amit Ji; Remedy for Northeast Cut: Place a big size mirror in Northeast direction in such a way that, mirror should enlarge that direction. Means northeast cut portion should reflect in that mirror. Create a water point ( Jalsthan) in Northeast. Take a Peetal (Braas) pot, fill it with water, add Panchadhatu pieces, some Kesar,Turmeric powder in that pot and keep this Pot in Northeast area. Change this water at least by weekly. These can reduce the bad effects of Northeast cut. Puja room should in Northeast or East direction and you should face East while performing puja Reply

There is high elevations of floors in the rooms constructed in the half of the house area (outersie of plot-southwet dircetion). But the inner half plot area (northeast)which include backside rooms, kitchen & aangan are lowest. It happned because of contrstion on half of the plot arae (outerside)later and the engineer advised for elevation for keeping the home abaove the road level. I have a swimming pool in the South and South-West direction, my bedroom is in North-East direction. Also, door towards the pool on the south side is in line of sight from the main entrance (North). Also, the pool is at a lower level than the rest of the house. A friend of mine told me that it is not recommended to have slope towards the South, South-West direction. Kindly advise some remedies. Toilet outside house at south east: Southeast extended as compared to SW: Overall southeast is defected which affects your financial stability and health problems to females. Remedy: Paint red color in Southeast area and put a Red color bulb on at – least in the night. If possible shift the toilet from southeast to South or Northwest. Namaste Panditji, I was going through your article amd the trailing posts. I have realised that our house has a lot of dosha ad hence the problems that we have been facing since the last two years. I have taken note of how to improve most of them. However there are three thati am still not sure about. Firstly our house is south facing and my father’s bdate is 19 sept 1962. Secondly, we have a penthouse with a teraace attched to our house on the west side. This makes the southwest portion of the house completely open. Lastly, there are two open sections that cut through the house. One is in the north direction and the other in the south direction. The plot and house entrance are Northwest facing (Mostly West but with 20 degree tilt towards North). The main door is in North / Northwest part of the house. I hope this is ok, but I’m concerned about two other things: 1) Southwest corner has a minor ~5 feet overlap with a incoming 30 feet road from West. 2) The plot is narrow in front and wider in back (gomukh) due to extension in Southeast corner. We dug a borewell last week at the north east without getting a survey don. We struck little water at 50′ depth and thereafter nothing till 600 feet which was shocking and we stopped it . That borewell has got water now but what will be the future I cannot sa. Later I got a survey done and was told that only the southwest area has water. After my house there are two other houses are constructed and after that dead end road (can’t walk & can’t go after that i.e Big wall is constructed). In this cut/offset there are lift and staircase from east stepping to west and then turning west to east landing into corridor. So these steps and lift is advisable or not on the northwest with a cut/offset to the apartment. Further there is extension of southwest master bedroom by 2ft which is well into the compound only but in the rectangular floor plan it projects by 2ft in the southwest-west side.

The north east is extended slightly where the builder has constructed a small toilet for the visitors. The SE becomes the living and dining and the SW becomes the bedroom. The Kitchen is placed near the entrance and is placed half in NE and half in NW. There is small area next to kitchen at the NW corner where the provision for gas cylinders to keep. The main bathroom with toilet is towards the NW attached to bedroom and behind the Kitchen. Is this flat good to consider? Reply

Situations are below: Entrance:’ Two ( main gate in Northwest and we use this one, entrance of the house is north facing which leads to central hall. other entrance is in South, but we dont use due to sever problem in Southeast area) West of the house has a gallery left open with either shoe rack or washing machine otherwise empty, i have kept the plants in north side of the gallery. Bedroom: NE, with a window and AC fitted in NE corner, cupboard in Northwest corner of bedroom, the area looks heavy but we sleep in western side of the room (head towards west / north) Kitchen in east (middle of bedroom and washroom: cooking is done facing south, RO purifier established in NE of kitchen and a sink in east with a window) Washroom and bathroom ( northwest corner with water bucket generally kept full in NW corner and toilet is adjoining this in south side which is aside of my south entrance (not used). Last but not the least, does keeping electric equipments anywhere makes difference? my TV and computer are in South West (i face west when i watch them) refrigerator in east (middle) . I know i have listed many of the doshas here, please suggest remedy, or do you think i should change the house? I am considering two but don’t want to move without your recommendation and blessings now. 1) One of the houses is a 2nd floor with entrance in north, yet northeast corner a balcony alongwith living room, bathroom northwest, kitchen west, bedroom southwest, and another room in southeast with a balcony in east. Yet both balconies are covered with glass and iron railings. 2) a ground floor surrounded by two small parks in east and south. west is a small gully. A new entrance has been created in east and the one is west is not used. one room in NE ( thought to be master bedroom, but now i understand that is not a good place for bedroom) another option for bedroom is a SW room behind kitchen. one room in southeast, bathroom and toilet in northwest. while this is a costly option. Please suggest if either of the two is good for consideration. I would be greatly thankful, i am concerned for my wife’s health and my son’s. The main reason we bought the house is due to its lavish air and light and a feeling of positive energy in the home.We learnt few basic vaasthu tips and evaluated the house.Everything seemed to be right.Then we did interior work.But did not obstruct the flow of air and light.Every room has been decorated with utmost care.But the pooja room renovation got stuck, since the carpenter started giving excuses.Till date we dont have the pooja room intact.The idols are kept on the floor on the paper with three lamps, bell and gita. Recently we started falling sick, but with health issues which we had before we moved in , but in an aggravated condition. There is another bed room in the south west also. 2nd entrance of garage falls on east side but nichpad lower east side. Good part: this is gaumukhi plot with north east corner extended and has slopes from south to north and west to east all leading water to north east. Also extensions on north side and east and west side of house. 2) Bed part, I think is a fan shaped lot that can be divided into two big rectangles, and the house will be in bigger side. The small separable rectangle is also big enough to make a house. This lot is north facing and extended side is on west, meaning south west corner side square missing that makes fan shape. Also extensions on south side, east side and west side of house. Good part: Lot is north facing, kitchen in south east, master bed room at least in south east, another bed room in south west also etc. A second garage entrance in the east side towards ucchapad upper side. big in north portion) and also the portion that has in the flat , there is a bathroom. At first we are not aware of vastu. But we are facing problems . Anushekar December 4, 2016 at 4:59 pm I have small house of 625 sqft. With roads on east and south. We have gate in NE corner facing east. Main door of the house is also in NE facing north. Due to shortage of place:1. We had to keep kitchen (SE corner) entrance right in front of main door, there is no door or doorway for kitchen. 2. We have bathroom attached with toilet under stair in NW corner. Stair is from east to west then taking a u-turn towards east. Bathroom door is in south opening from utility in living. Now we want to build two rooms on first floor in south(SE to SW) one for my son and other for my husband’s business (tutorial like) as he is suffering from very rough financial period since 3 years. I want to know: 1. Which room will be suitable for whom? 2. Can we have a toilet between the two rooms (I may convert SE room into kitchen in future if the need arises)? Nandini S.V December 13, 2016 at 10:50 am Pranaam , Sir I am a widow with a son. Recently after a long time of waiting , I managed to buy a house. After we moved in the house, after a quite long time I could do Satyanarayan pooja, I could not do Vastu pooja or any house warming ceremony me being single mother now and also due to the paucity of funds. Somehow I was peaceful that we have a shelter of our own. The hurdles now is that my son is growing and though he is quite intelligent in overall sense , still he gets into some unnecessary problems, though we are very affectionate to each other , but still I feel theirs no peace, somehow always paucity of funds is their. His studies though he is capable of , doesn’t give much efforts. Some items even though he is innocent , he gets into problem. Is it any problems with Vastu. The main gate with rolling door is on the North West facing on the North West of the plot, The house is built on the East side of plot , East is built with a high blind wall , The main door of house is again on North West , North east is the Hall , in the hall , the staircase is on the east touching the east blind wallike which I mentioned above. And the West side of plot and South west of plot and south east of plot is a small garden, also the floor on these areas are lower to the building floor. Also they have built the safety tank on the South West of the plot , where small patch of garden is made. One more last detail is that one water tank is on the South East part of building, and another water tank is on the ground in the garden on the South part of plot. Kindly guide me. At least the remedy for time being, till I can do any renovation. Thank you so much in advance. Regards.
