Learning Objective: 1. Apply safety and health program to meet the work place requirements. (C3, PLO1) 2. React according to the most current acts pertinent to the Occupational Safety and Health. (P3, PLO2) 3. Comply the current technique on reporting of accidents/ incident according to the OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 or DOSH Requirements. (A2, PLO8) Task 1: (Question select by the lecturer based on the group in a class) 1. Identify the sectors that are listed in the OSHA and the related accident in this sector. (You can choose ONE (1) sector and make a research based on the sector. 2. Discuss the University role to train a safety and health personnel based on Occupational Safety and Health Malaysian Plan 2015 (OSH-MP 15) 3. Please find the Occupational Safety and Health Management System Malaysian Standard and discuss what are the roles of the stakeholders to make sure the system can be implemented. Report / Presentation Guidelines: 1. You need to form a group of 5-6 people. Your group will write a report and present for 10 mins on the main findings of your case study. You case study report must include:
An introduction that provides a description and information based on the task given.
Contents (based on the case study)
A conclusion and suggestions for improvement.
References (at least 10 sources eg. books, journals and online journals)
2. Each group has 10 minutes, including questions. Time keeping is important. 5 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for questions is suggested. Questions are

Speakers should dress up as in a formal presentation to the public. 5. Distribute 1 page (< 150 words) abstract before your presentation. Include the title and the names of all the group members. 6. Your groups are given ONE (1) week to complete the report and present the case study.
