Total solution is software for data preparation, Design and drawing of RCC building.
It consists of following of following module PLANWIN FRAMEWIN RCDC
PLANWIN PLANWIN module is used for making layout plan for each floor. It can import file from CAD software, or you can make plan using simple to use graphical user interface. Creation of plan of plan consists of drawing of drawing slabs, columns and beams.
FRAMEWIN FRAMEWIN module is used for combining data at all levels into one 3D structure. It has facility to decide column sizes based on vertical loads. Wind load and Seismic data is generated depending on location and other parameters. It can create either STAAD file or ETABS file. It also creates additional files required for generating detailed drawing using RCDC module.
RCDC RCDC module reads the output generated by STAAD or ETABS and carry out detailed drawings for following elements Footing Trapezoidal Flat footing Step footing
Column Beams Shear wall Staircase Beside generating drawing its creates following Detail design calculations Bill of material of material which includes Excavation quantities for footing Formwork for footing Concrete & reinforcement quantities for Footing, Columns, Beams,
Slabs, Shear Wall & Stair case
Total solution has capacity to solve building up to 99 stories. However for explanation purpose a small building consisting of ground + 2 stories is used as illustration.
PLANWIN Slab Marking
GROUND LEVEL PLAN Above plan is made using PLANWIN module. Each slab is marked relative to each other thus eliminating to give and coordinates.
While creating slab following information is given
COLUMN MARKING
After slabs are drawn, columns are marked using judge option. Cursor moves from one corner to other. You have to say Y or N to mark of discard the column at specified location.
Also column can be marked relative to corner point as shown in above figure. Option like renumbering, moving , deleting , renaming columns are available.
BEAM MARKING
After marking of slab and column, beam can be marked automatically. First you specify the floor height
After specifying the floor height AUTOBEAM marking option is used.
This way beam size and loading on the beam is worked out and all the beams are marked.
Next beam are marked for continuity (This is used for drawing cross section of beam)
Next program is executed. This transfers the load from slab to beams and beams to column.
Also it is possible to information about how the load is transferred to each column.

Similarly plan for all required level is created.
FRAMEWIN
FRAMEWIN module combines all the plan created by PLANWIN into one 3D structure.
Information shown below is given to FRAMEWIN which generates 3D model
To work out the column sizes there is auto size option. At this point of time vertical load is known on each column. By specifying grade of column width of column and percentage of desired steel program works out column depth.
Next orientation of column is given along with fixed face. (In case of varying size of column, user can specify which face is fixed)
Next for wind parameter location and other required parameter like terrain category are given. This generates wind data.
Next seismic data is generated depending on location, importance factor, and type of framing system.
Now you can either create STAAD file or ETABS file as shown below.

Next RCC Design center reads the analysis file generated with ETABS / STAAD and prepares drawing various elements.
