MANY practitioners, and I myself, have treated successfully scores of cases by means of these “secondary remedies” only. They ensure ease and accuracy in prescribing, but I must point out that treatment with these remedies takes somewhat longer to achieve results in the majority of cases. One could hardly expect deeply -seated chronic conditions to respond without a course of the main remedies in a higher potency po tency.. The formula reference numbers are my ow n and they have been quoted for ease of reference so that if a reader wishes to write me on any matter concern ing these compounds it is necessary to merely quote the formula numbers. DOSAGE: Tablets Tablets should be dissolved disso lved on or under the tongue. Chronic conditions:conditions :- Two Two before or after meals two or three times daily. daily. When two remedies are called for take one before and the other after a meal. If mo re than two, combine those for associated conditions, cond itions, e.g. P. P. 24 B. with P. 7, P. P. 2 B with P. 28, and so forth; thus th us two of each together can be taken before or after a meal. Another method wou ld be to give a third formula at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Do not take these tablet remedies at the sam e hour as a 30c. formula. formula . Acute conditions: Two or three tablets every hour, hour, or more frequently according accordi ng to the condition. e.g. during an acute attack of indig estion a dose of P. 24 or P. 24 B may be taken every ten or fifteen minutes until relief is obtain ed, and then less frequently. For acute pain also take frequent doses until relieved. For fevers, septic throats, etc., the dose should be given hourly, then less frequently as the symptoms abate. Note.-Avoid drugs for acute pain when possible. As a rule the selected remedy will a ct. But if relief is not obtained a nd the sufferer is in great di stress, a remedy such as “Veganin” may be ad ministered with moderation. The layman is advised to confine himself to these compound tablets and not experiment with the 30c remedies. Serious disorders should be under expert supervision. A wrongly selected remedy in potency can do more harm than good. To save space the twelve salts of Schussler are abbreviated thus:Calcium Fluoride Fluorid e as C.F. C.F.

LIQUID COMPOUND VITALIZER. (And Antispasmodic) Rx Tin. Dioscorea 1 oz. Tin. Capsicum 12 ozs. Tin. Lobelia Inf. 1 oz. Tin Anthemis Nob. 1 oz DOSE: Half to one drachm in hot water repeated every fifteen to thirty minutes. Sweeten if desired. For neuralgia and toothache pour about ten drops (warm) into the ear on the affected side. Massage a little into the temple and behind the ear. Then place the warm hand over the ar ea for a few minutes. Do the same for earache. Cotton wool soaked in the solution may be placed in contact with aching teeth. As a medicine this formula is a very powerful, yet harmless, stimulant and antispasmodic. Ideal for nerve pains, cramp, spasm and colla pse. Should be in every home for use in emergency. Give in hot water for fainting, heart turns, flatulence, exhaustion . Sweetened, it forms an invigorating beverage in cold weather. A full dose with a teaspoonful of the fluid extract of Yarrow (Achillea Mill) added in a tumbler of hot water, taken on retiring, will sweat out a cold and help throw off influenza. With some people ten to fifteen drops act better than large doses. A little experimenting will decide
