Connectivity Configuring the Corporate.dsf file In order to communicate with T24, the web services link are configured in the Corporate.dsf file. The Corporate.dsf file is present in the WEB-INF directory of Corporate.war file and a typical path for Corporate.dsf looks like <\JBoss\server\default\deploy\Corporate.war\WEB-INF\> For T24 communication, set the GlobalParameterValue as shown in the image.
Corporate.dsf settings
Configuring the jBoss-web.xml The jboss-web.xml file within the WEB.INF directories of the two Web services war files must be configured. A typical WEB-INF directory path looks like <\JBoss\server\default\deploy\TCIBCommonWS.war\WEB-INF\>. l
For TCIBCommonWS.war file's jboss-web.xml file, set the Jndi-name as jca/t24ConnectionFactoryTCIB

Configuring the t24-ds.xml File The Jndi-name provided in the jboss-web.xml file should match with the jndi-name present in the t24-ds.xml files. For TCIB Corporate, both web services war files (namely TCIBCorporateWS.war and TCIBCommonWS.war) must be configured using the t24-ds.xml file present in the Jboss directory. For TCIBCommonWS.war, set the Jndi-name as jca/t24ConnectionFactoryTCIB
l
For TCIBCorporateWS.war, set the Jndi-name as jca/t24ConnectionFactoryTCIBCORP
l
Rar-name specifies the rar file to be used for this connection.
l
Config-property host specifies the IP address of the host, i.e the machine hosting the jbase_agent and T24 area.
l
Config-property port specifies the port number to send messages to. Obviously, this port number must be used while starting the jbase agent. Here in this example, it is given as 20008.
l
Config-property env specifies the OFS.SOURCE record id. l
For TCIBCommonWS.war, set it as OFS_SOURCE=TCIB
l
For TCIBCorporateWS.war, set it as OFS_SOURCE=TCIBCORP
OFS.SOURCE Record OFS is a standard module within T24, with a module code OF. It is a standard gateway to TEMENOS T24. For TCIB-Corporate, two OFS.SOURCE records are needed (one for Common war file and the other for Corporate war file). TWS must be given as the Attribute in the OFS record. Following images illustrate the OFS.SOURCE records required to deploy TCIB Corporate.
TCIB OFS.SOURCE

TCIBCORP OFS.SOURCE
Configuring the Agent The only important setup in the agent is the port number that needs to match the setup in the t24-ds.xml file as explained in the above sections. To start the jBase Agent, user needs to type the following in the jshell: jsh> jbase_agent –p [PORT_NUMBER] For example jsh> jbase_agent –p 20008
Creating an Access Proxy Services Arrangement A Proxy Arrangement is used in corporate banking where a user needs access to financial products owned by another customer of the bank. It is a contract between the User (CUSTOMER) and the Customer (a person or legal entity having accounts, financial positions or other products with the bank). So every TCIB User needs to have a valid T24 Customer record. The customer record is specified in ALLOWED.CUSTOMER and PROXY.ARRANGEMENT. It is important that the User(CUSTOMER) has to be removed as Allowed Customer. The AP module must be enabled in order to create Proxy Services Products and Arrangements. Following screenshot illustrates a Proxy Services Arrangement for TCIB Corporate.
TCIB Corporate - User Guide - Page 11 of 77
Types of Users and their Configuration In Temenos Connect Internet Banking - Corporate, an organisation is the customer of a bank . The Corporate Employees are the users and thus the corporate users need Internet Banking Access. The Corporate users may have different access rights. In case of related Corporates (e.g. parent and subsidiaries), some users even have access to more than one corporate in a single session. Some users have rights to authorise and few do not. In TCIB - Corporate setup, the Corporate users are broadly classified into different classes. For instance: l
Clerk - who can input financial records and initiate transactions
l
Manager - who can authorise/approve/reject a financial record or transaction
l
Checker - who can authorise/approve/reject/amend the records. This user cannot initiate a new transaction or create a new record.
Internet Services Arrangement An Internet Services Arrangement (ISA) is an instance of a certain product that is linked to a specific Customer. The Internet Service Arrangement is a personalised instance of a TCIB product which defines what the user gets
TCIB Corporate - User Guide - Page 12 of 77
to view when they access the system. Simply, the profile for the customer is setup using an Internet Services Arrangement. The profile is linked to an external user id of an application called EB.EXTERNAL.USER. SMS Group TCIB Corporate involves three SMS.GROUPs. They are: l
For Clerk, it is AI.CORPINPUT
l
For Manager, it is AI.CORP.AUTH
l
For Checker, it is AI.CORPINPAUT
TC.HOME settings personalises the main user profile to be used (i.e Clerk, Manager, etc.) TC.OPERATIONS is used to define the role operation. These settings determine what the user gets to view when they access the product (i.e Bulk payments, Letter of Credit, etc) It is important to create an Internet Service Arrangement for the User (CUSTOMER) and link it to the proxy Arrangement. Following images illustrate the arrangement setup for different users.
Sample Settings for Clerk User

Sample Settings for Checker User
EB.EXTERNAL.USER The profiles for the TCIB users (hereafter referred as External Users) are created using the EB.EXTERNAL.USER application. Each external user is a Customer (person who enters the system through an External User profile) and is related to an Internet Services Arrangement. Note: It is important to set the USER.TYPE as CORPORATE.

Password Authentication TCIB uses an in-built password authentication system but is capable of accommodating a third-party authentication server to validate users prior to any traffic hitting the servers. This feature enables a bank to provide a wide range of authentication options and it reduces the likelihood of a denial-of-service attack affecting the servers. For more information about Authentication Integration, refer the TCIB - Installation and Configuration Guide.
