Complete Sword Master Guide Guide ( version 0.75 ) by : dito Greetings everyone! Here, I'm going to show you a guide in order to become a Sword Master. 1. What is Sword Master? Sword Master is an option given for the 4th job change for fighter-class players who want to learn the art of dual-wielding. The class enables the users to wield dual one-handed weapons at once. At level 105, you must meet Cindamook the Sage in Nera Castle in order to gain the 4th Job advancement. Side Note : Magnus can also dual-wield but it's limited for elf players and has less proficiency for dualwielding than Sword Master 2. The Best Job Paths for Sword Master Now, the thing is, what path should we take? Apparently, there are a plenty of choices to go to Sword Master. I'll show some paths that will depend on your own choices. A. Offensive Sword Master Best Used With : Human If you are interested in killing the enemies quickly and having an enormous amount of physical attack powers regardless of defense, then this job path is for you. Fighter > Warrior > Mercenary/Swordsman > Knight/Gladiator > Sword Master Stats Build : 100% STR Pros : - Very High Physical Attack Power Cons : - Need to Re-skill - Lack of Defense B. Scared of dying in the middle of the battlefield ? then you will need this path if you are tend to tanking when wielding 2 weapons at the same time. Fighter > Guard > Swordsman > Phalanx > Sword Master Stats Build : 100% VIT Pros : - Very High Physical Defense Power - Able to use a Shield at any time Cons : - Lack of Attacking Power C) Balanced Sword Master (Type 1) Best Used With : Elf This is the most common job path used by most players due to its stability in combat skills. Fighter > Warrior > Infantryman > Rune Knight > Sword Master Stats Build :50% STR, & 50% VIT Pros : - Higher Physical Attack than Defense Cons : - Need to Re-Skill - Restricted for Elves only D) Balanced Sword Master (Type 2) Best Used With : Human This one is the last but not least job path. I'm using this because of the balanced proficiency of Attacking & Defending power, plus it's also good to maintain Critical hits & Accuracy. Stats Build : 25% STR, 50% DEX, 25% VIT Pros : - Balanced Physical Attack & Defense - Good Critical Damage Cons : - No Dominant Side 3. Tips, Hints, and Glitches -Do you know that most of the new skills from Sword Masters are bugged? It means, you can't use it in any way. So be aware of it, I suggest you just take "Dual Sonic Blast" & "Spinning Sword" ONLY! using the others will lead to re-skilling which costs a lot. The skills "Dual Blow" and "Fearful Massacre" are the 2nd version of one-handed skills of "Dual Strike" and "Cross Slash" but without the effects. -One-Handed Skills are NOT usable for Dual-Wielding -Shield skills are USABLE for Dual-Wielding -Despite having its ability with dual-wielding, Sword Masters have to face a weakness too. There's a penalty of learning the "Dual-Weapons Expertise" which are : Level 1 Skill at Level 105 about -500 critical rate, -50 evasion, -50% Physical Attack Level 5 Skill at Level 117 - 310 critical rate, -30 evasion, -26.42% Physical Attack Level 10 Skill at Level 132 -135 critical rate, -5 evasion, -12.57% Physical Attack -So, it is advised that you should level up first in order to compensate on the penalties. At least, leveling till 117 is enough, but dual-wielding at 105 so early is just not right. It will deprive almost a half of your Physical Attack points, take a huge amount of Critical rates & Evasions. Hence if you have decent equipments, you can go dual-wield and take the risk with no worries. -The ultimate reason why I don't put skills is because you'll have to choose them by yourself for your own choices, it all depends on preferences with experience Well, that's all for my guide.
