CHARACTER ARCHETYPES For accelerated character creation players can choose one of the fantasy archetypes below. Each is listed with its required Attributes and Skills, which must be met, and a list of Edges (and Powers for magic-using archetypes) which can be chosen. It is assumed that the character has taken the maximum number of Hindrances (two minor and one major), and is thus able to learn two Edges. For characters with less Hindrances, simply reduce the number of Edges learned. The archetypes given use Edges and Powers from SWEX and the Fantasy Companion. Assassin Required Attributes: Agility d8, Strength d6 Required Skills: Climbing d8, Fighting d6, Stealth d8 Edges: Assassin, plus one of: Acrobat, Alertness, Ambidextrous, Danger sense, First strike.
