Marking Codes used on Welwyn Chip Resistors Where space allows, chip resistors are marked with value in 3 or 4 characters. The coding is 2 or 3 digits followed by one multiplier expressing the number of zeros. For example 472 = 4700 ohms = 4K7, 1331 = 1330 ohms = 1K33, 330 = 33 ohms = 33R (N.B. not 330R). 330R).
