Replace Direction Indicator Relays in a Siemens BSI

Replace direction indicator relays in a Siemens BSI (Peugeot / Renault) I have a Peugeot 206 and had a problem with the direction indicator lights. When I had been driving for a while, the indicator lights became 'stick'! the stopped blinking, and staed on continuousl. When I knocked the "#I $below the fusebo%& the lights went of again. I found out that the relas in the "#I where broken. "ecause the "#I is not a cheap part, I decided to replace the relas mself. #ince its not that eas to replace the relas, I made this page, ust in case ou have the same problem. W()*I*+! he "#I is a central computer unit in our car. Without it our car will not start. -se this guide at our own risk. /nl work on electronics in an #1 #1 s  sa afe area

Removal of the BSI from the car   )emove the fuse bo% cover   )emove the protective cover from the underside of the fusebo%  -nscrew the "#I or% screw $or%20& $or%20& and push the retaining clip at the lower part of the fusebo% $see below& )el3s #ustit4ase el indicador de direcci5n en un "#I #iemens $Peugeot  )enault& engo engo un Peugeot 206  ten7a un p roblema con las luces indicadoras de direcci5n. 8uando o hab7a estado conduciendo durante un tiempo, el indicador lleg5 a ser 9pegaosa9! dearon de parpadear,  se mantuvo en forma continua. 8uando llam3 la "#I $por debao de la caa de fusibles& se apagaron las luces de n uevo. :e enter3 de ;ue los enlaces en las p artidas del balance ;ue rota. 1ebido a ;ue las partidas del balance no es una parte econ5micos, me decid7 a sustituir los rel3s de m7 mismo. 1esde su no tan fa eliminaci5n de las partidas del balance del coche  )etirar la caa de fusibles cubrir  ?uitar la tapa protectora de la parte inferior de la caa de fusibles  1esenroscar el tornillo or% "#I $or%20&  empue el clip de sueci5n en la parte inferior de la

If ou're not able to remove or place the relas, ou can alwas cut a piece of plastic out of  the cover right above the relas.  1esolder the G leads of the two relas $ou need the solder iron to be about H008& */(! he rela is the A")GL*1L0* $GL*1L0*& from Auitsu $datasheet L:b& In urope it is available through 8onrad lectronic, partnumber G0GL02BM. $(ctuall the A")GL*1L2WL& If ou can't find this rela in our countr, ou can also use the +B?*L8H18L2 from /mron as a replacement $datasheet G00kb&. his rela is amongst others available through 1igiNe, partnumber O26M6*1. $*/! I haven't tried this rela mself, I choosed it based on the datasheets. #o use it at our own risk.&
