After installing batteries (seenext section), you can immediatelyusethe RadioShackLow-Cost3-in-1 Remoteto control anRCATV, VCR, and Satellite receiver. TheRadioShack Low-Cost3-in-1 Remotecomes preprogrammed to operate an RCA TV, VCR, DVD, and Satellite receiver. To controldevices other thandefault brands, follow these steps; otherwise, skip this section. Beforeproceeding, find thecodes for the devices you want to program in Manufacturer's Codes and write them downor highlight them. CHANGING VOLUME LOCK TheRadioShack Low-Cost 3-in-1Remote comes presetto allow independent volumecontrol of each selected device (GlobalVolume Unlock).However, you may change the Volume Lock setting to Global VolumeLockso that one device'svolumewill control volume in all other modes. After that, you can perform Individual VolumeUnlock on a selected device to set its volume control for independent operation.

TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM: LED does not blink when you press a key. SOLUTION: Replace batteries with two (2) new AA alkaline batteries. PROBLEM: LED blinks when you press a key, but devicedoes not respond. SOLUTION: Makesure theremote is aimed at your deviceandis deviceandis notmorethan15 feetaway. PROBLEM: LED blinks one longblink. SOLUTION: An entry error has occurred(for example, wrongkey). Try entry sequenceagain. PROBLEM: Remotedoes not control devices or commandsarenot workingproperly. SOLUTION: Try alllisted codes for the device.Make sure the deviceoperates with an infrared remote control. PROBLEM: CH+, CH+, CH-, CH-, and Last do not work for your RCA TV.
