Questions from memory (Dec. 2011) I’m forwarding these questions to be shared with your future students -
WPS and PQR (three questions for one WPS and one PQR) They provided one WPS & one PQR Thickness on the WPS was 0.4320, and there were two tensile tests on PQR with a thickness of 0.8 inches each. First question, Were tensile tests on the PQR acceptable? abcd-
Yes Yes, but specimen #1 is rejected Yes. But specimen # 2 is rejected No. the number of test is not educating for the given thickness.
2nd question -
They were asking if bend tests were acceptable On the PQR, all of the results were below 3 mm
Choices were abcd-
Yes No No need for bend test Yes. But specimen # 1 and are rejected.
Third question Thickness range was mentioned in the WPS abcd-
Yes No Yes, but not the right range Don’t remember
Other closed Book Questions What is the minimum thickness measurement interval for CUI . abcd-
Depends on the classification 3 years 10 years 5 years
If RBI is not being used, the interval between piping inspections shall reviewed when changing service from: abcd-

There was no question about thermal expansions All short term, long term, and remaining life questions were closed book
I also remember many questions, but they need to be organized in my brain. So when ready, I will forward them to you.
