1. What is the title of your project? Simple calculation for perimeter and area program using scratch
2. What you want to find out? I want to find out whether students of Form 1 AMANAH can produce simple math calculation program using scratch to achieve level 6.
3. How do you intend to try to find this out? These students have knowledge and skills to do simple math program. To achieve Band 6,they have to do project which produce simple game program. First I give instruction for the students to follow. They will produce simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication and division program by following my instruction. Later, students have to produce their simple calculation for perimeter and area for rectangle and triangle program. These students will use computing techniques to complete these task.
4. Does this build on anything you have tried before, or those others have tried? Yes, everyone in the class will have the chance to participate actively and by doing so they will get Band 6 and be responsible for their own learning.
5. How will you write up your findings? I will produce a list showing the students that achieve Band 6. For students who did not achieve Band 6, I will write the reasons why they did not achieve. It is about their skill or their attitude.
6. How will you ensure your investigation follows ethics recommendations? By preparing an ethical recommendation recommendation check list.
7. How will this investigation help you develop your Computing teaching? By doing this investigation, i nvestigation, I hope the findings will help me to get more ideas on Incorporating Incorporating computational computational thinking in my class for next time.
