1. Back Backgr grou ound nd of th thee stu study dy Master Paper is compulsory for the student of CEMBA Program offered by the School of Business (SOB), Bangladesh Open University (BOU). Making a proposal is a partial requirement of master paper. As a student of CEMBA Program I am interested on supply chain management management of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Ltd and consult with Prof. Shahidul Islam Fakir, Department Department of Management Management studies, Faculty of Business Studies, Jagannath University, Dhaka. Dhaka. Prof. Shahidul Islam is agree to supervise me to prepare the master paper.

St Stat atem emen entt of of th thee pro probl bleem Supply chain management (SCM) is the oversight of materials, information, information, and finances as they move in a process from supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer to consumer. In Bangladesh the practice of supply chain is almost a new concept and it is going to be a strong field of knowledge. This is not well implied in this country because it needs various researches and works to build better concept on the supply chain regarding the business environment of Bangladesh.

and its commitment to customers. The study will show the practices of supply chain and logistics management management of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Ltd. The study will also encompass some problems of implementing implementing the supply chain management management in Bangladeshi companies and recommend some ideas or ways of resolving these problems.

provide a clear understanding to the students, professors, officials, business persons, investors of local and international international arena , governments, shareholders, customers, researchers, and various stakeholder about the total scenario of supply chain management management practices of Bangladesh and specially the SCM practices of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Ltd.

06.Research Methodology It is very much difficult to collect information about SCM practices of any enterprise especially of a well recognized company like Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Ltd. Because keeping secret the business policy is one kind of business policy. They are not willing to disclose their business secret. Though there are various discrepancies, the research will be done by collecting information from various sources, like-

Limitations The study has some limitations. limitations. a) Time frame is limited for a large scale study. b) It is very much difficult to collect information about SCM practices of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Ltd due to keeping secret the business policy. c) Data collection collection from different different sources may be mistake, mistake, but it is recoverable.
