The Department of Management has organized an Industrial Visit to Parle . for the PGDM-2ND semester students on (21 st February 2011) A total of 25 students along with 3 faculty members (MR. R.K.Tomar, Rakesh Dube and Mrs Sariata mam ) visited parle, bahadurgadh plant on 21.02.2011. A brief note on parle, Bahadurgadh,ºarayana is elaborated below During first session of course, PGDM -2nd semester students were given an exciting opportunity to participate in an intensive 1-day industrial visits trip (21th february 2011) to Parle-G(a well known FMCG company) to visit companies to know the practical aspects of management and its function. discoveries about careers ranging from the marketing and production sector. Parle Products has been India's largest manufacturer of biscuits and confectionery for almost 80 years. In 1929 a small company by the name of Parle products emerged in British dominated India. The goal was to spread joy and cheer to children and adults alike, all over the country with its sweets and candies. Although, the company knew that it wouldnǯt be an easy task, they decided to take the brave step. A small factory was set up in the suburbs of Mumbai to manufacture confectionery products. A decade later this factory was upgraded to manufacture biscuits as well. Since then, the Parle name has spread in all directions and has won international fame. Parle has been sweetening the lives of people all over India and abroad. Apart from the factories in Mumbai and Bangalore, Parle also has factories in Bahadurgarh, ºaryana and Neemrana, Rajasthan. These are the largest biscuit and confectionery plants in the country. Additionally, Parle Products also has 10 manufacturing units and 75 manufacturing units on contract.
