Course Overview
Course Overview This course provides information on integrating Quality Management into the processes of procurement, inventory management and sales processes. Our Company wants to implement a process for quality assurance in procurement and in sales. This involves defining who can deliver which material in the required quality. You must also ensure that the delivered materials meet the criteria with as little time and effort as possible. Finally, our company wants to trace how the quality of the delivered materials develops. The SAP Quality Management applications are part of the SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions. The information in this course refers to the SAP ERP Central Component 6.0 software component, SAP Enhancement Package 5.

Unit 1 Quality Management at Goods Receipt and during Goods Movement Unit Overview In this chapter, we will demonstrate the quality inspections during goods receipt and during goods movement using various processes. The individual lessons illustrate the respective processes. The inspection lots that arise belong to inspection lot origin 01 or to inspection lot origin 08. This Inspection lots are stock-relevant.

We will also demonstrate Procurement Documents and Quality Certificates at goods receipt. The individual lessons illustrate the respective processes. The inspection lots that arise belong to inspection lot origin 01. This Inspection lots are stock-relevant.

Unit 5 Quality Management in Sales and Distribution Unit Overview This unit discusses the other uses of quality management in logistical processes. Inspections are related to outbound deliveries. In addition to inspection processing, the quality notification can also be useful here (for example, to record a customer complaint). The individual lessons illustrate the respective processes. The inspection lots that arise belong to inspection lot origin 10 or to inspection lot origin 11. This Inspection lots are not stock-relevant. The quality notifications that we can use belong to notification origin Q1.
