Passport Credit Card Wallet
This folding wallet will hold loads of stu, such as your passport, currency, lots of plasc, plasc, coupons, airline ckets ckets and luggage stubs. With the magnec closure, all items stay secure.
Supplies:
1/4 yd of fabric for outside (or 2 fat quarters) 2 fat quarter for pockets and lining (or 1/4yard) Bang 18” x 8” Magnec purse snap Meler Web Bond Temporary Adhesive Meler Silk-Finish Mul 100% Coon Art. 1075 (Color 9824 was used for this) Plasc Ruler Rotary Cuer Fabric Marker
Cut 2 pieces of the outside fabric and a piece of bang 18” x 8” with ruler and rotary cuer. cuer. Spray wrong side of both pieces of fabric with Meler Web Bond. (Fig. 1) Place 1 piece of fabric down on table with adhesive adhesive side up. Place bang on top top of fabric (Fig. 2) 2) and then the other other piece of fabric (glue side down) on the bang. (Fig. 3) You now have have made a quilt sandwich.

Using a ruler that will show you a 45° 45° angle. (Fig. 4) Mark a line to give you you a starng starng point for for your quilng. quilng. (Fig. 5)

Wind the bobbin with Meler variegated thread thread and thread your machine with matching thread. Begin sewing on the drawn line. (Fig. 6) When the rst line is nished, use your presser foot as a guide and sew next to the line you just sewed. sewed. Connue unl all the fabric has been quilted. quilted. To nish the ends, cut a 2” strip by 8 1/2”. 1/2”. Fold the strip in half length-wise and press. (Fig. 10) Fig. 11
Unfold and press one long end of raw edge to the center fold. (Fig. 11) Fig. 12
Press the opposite side side to the center center fold. Fold on the center again and press one more more me. (Fig. 12)
Using Meler Web Bond Temporary Adhesive Spray, spray the inside of the folded binding. This will make it a cinch to hold in place while you are sewing. (Fig. 13 & 14) Fig. 13

Lay the short end of the quilted piece onto half of the binding. (Fig. 15) Because of the Web Bond spray sp ray adhesive it will stay put but is moveable if you need to. Then fold fold the other other half of the binding onto the front side. (Fig. 16) Zig Zag stch in place. (Fig. 17)
Using the lining linin g fabric, cut 1 piece 8” x 16”. 16”. (Fig. 18) Fold right sides together longwise and sew raw raw edges using 1/2 seam allowance. allowance. (Fig. 19) You now have a tube. Cut a piece of lining fabric 17.5” x 10.5”. 10.5”. On the narrow side, fold and press under 1/4 inch, fold another 1/4 inch and and press. press. To nish the binding, cut 2 pieces of 2” wide binding 19” long. We will make make the binding exactly as we did on Page 3 (Fig. 10 -12), with one excepon. excepon. We will need to nish the ends. You may just turn the end down 1/4 inch for for a hem (Fig. 32) and spray with Meler Web Web Bond and aach as we did the other edges. Or if you want the mitered look, follow these instrucons.
