INTRODUCTION
This handy hobby guide contains tips on basing your Citadel Miniatures to fit with a variety of locations, from the frigid wastes of an arctic tundra to dense Lustrian undergrowth. We present eight guides in all, giving you plenty of new base styles to try out and showing you how to get the most out of Citadel Texture Paints. CITADEL TEXTURE PAINTS
Citadel Texture Paints are designed to give striking results on the bases of your Citadel miniatures, with a minimum of fuss and bother. To apply them either use an old paint brush, or the new spatula in the Citadel Sculpting Tool set. The spatula is especially good – it’s a little flexible, has a small enough tip to get into small areas, and can be wiped clean. To use it, scoop some Texture Paint out of the pot (1), and then spread it evenly around the ase (2). It’s a bit like icing a cake. Finally, use the spatula to ‘pucker’ the Texture Paint a little,
so that it isn’t too smooth (3).
