g This product may need to be installed on a high-rise structure such as a mast or roof. When installing the product, wear a safety h arness and other relevant protective gear. In addition, follow all occupational health and safety regulations applicable to the installation.

Preparation of installation
1.The cable output must be placed depending on the installation needs. This evaluation must be made before starting the installation procedure. 2. Besides the type of the IDU, its placement into the FOC should be considered. The installation technician is charged to choose how the IDU must be installed.

The installation of the two squares depends on the right/left positioning of the front side with respect to the pole/wall.

Fix the outdoor case to the plinth with two torx M5x8 screws and thread locking compound.
Installing on the floor Install the Plinth and the FOC case
1. Check the clearances around the plinth. Facility wall

2. Place the plinth on the floor, grouding points facing forward. 3. Bolt on the floor with two bolts.

4. Fix the outdoor case on the plinth.
g Do not connect the cables before having carried out the fixing of the case on the plinth.
The two-outputs configuration
In the floor installation, the two-outputs configuration can be used.

Stacking of more FOCs
More FOCs can be stacked and this option is only possible for the floor installation. And maximum 5 FOCs can be stacked for zone 4 and maximum 11 FOCs for zone 2 (earthquake measures).

Installing on the pole Safety washers position

Fix the mounting screws
g Note that the blue safety washers hold the screws in place during installation. They should be installed to the screws after the screws are through the bracket.
Fix the lower bracket
Lift the plinth and Tighten the screws
Fix the lower bracket
g Before mounting the outdoor case on the pole, install the IDU. The IDU can be installed after having placed FOC on the pole. Do not connect the cables before having carried out the lifting of the IDU on the pole.
Tighten the screws
Back-to-back Installation
g A second unit can be installed back to back using the same brackets. And maximum 2 units can be stacked on the pole.

Installing on the wall Prepare the wall installation
Lift the plinth and Tighten the screws
g Do not connect the cables before having carried out the lifting of the IDU on the wall.
Fix the lower adapter mechanics and Tighten the screws

the wall, install the IDU. The IDU can be installed after having placed FOC on the wall.

General rules for IDU cabling
g
Connect the grouding cable to the IDU before inserting the I DU into the case. Make sure that the fans power supply cables can be easily reached for their successive connection to fan controller board.

Before connecting the cables, the plate has to be fixed to the inner cover by 4 M3 screws. And the plate has not to be removed any more.

Connection of the GND cables and Install the covers

Connect the cable to IDU/FOC, taping the cables at the end of th hose and fix the cable by ties. After that, close the FOC.
FOC is equipped with two grounding cables. Connect always both the cables to the grounding point inside the cover. The unused cable can be used in a future expansion. (a) IDU grouding cable (b) external FOC grounding cable (c) site grounding cable
