Order of Installation •

Uninstall previous WellFlo and PVTflex versions.

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (.NET 4.0 is installed on Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit systems by default) •

If you don’t have login credentials, you can request for one by clicking Customer registration. It may take up to 24 hrs to receive login credentials.

Save the zip file on to your system

Unzip the file Right click on Setup file and click on Run as administrator for self installation

Click on zip to download PVTflex. Save the file on to your system.

After the software installation, right click on WellFlo/PVTflex icon and click on Properties. Under Compatibility tab, check “Run this program as administrator”. Hit Apply and OK.

Node-lock license setup • If you are installing the software on a new system or if you are installing it for the first time on your old system, then you need to create a new folder named flexlm in your C:\ drive (Note: Make sure you spell the folder name correctly) • If you already have flexlm folder in your C:\ drive, copy license.dat file into that folder.

1. Click Start button

2. Click Computer



3. Double click here

5. A new folder is created. Double click to open it

4. Create a new folder by clicking here and name it as flexlm (it doesn’t matter if you use capital letters. Just spell it right) Do not create a folder if it is already there.



6. Paste the license file here.

Server license setup • Please follow the instructions in Server Licensing Installation.doc for setting up the server license.


Placing license request • You can contact [email protected] for getting WellFlo & PVTflex licenses. • When contacted, you will be asked for your computer’s Volume ID. • The next slide contains instructions for generating a system’s Volume ID.

2. Type cmd as shown and press Enter on the keyboard
