NIGHTFALL HEALER GUIDE
"For centuries the Church and the priesthood of Rome clergy remained in anonymity various studies, researching and findings regarding the hunting and extermination of apocalyptic beasts. Beasts that according to the holy scriptures were considerately the abyss of the human race and the scourge that God proposed against heretics, pagans and traitors. But a new threat of self dominant force rose through those who resisted the dominant Inquisition in Europe, the Vampires! To repel such supernatural forces and black magics humans had to further extend their search and training of hunting once again, notwithstanding that the church has recruited a hundred men, gave them unique and exclusive training, sharing the secrets hitherto hidden . These men are called Bishops. The Bishops have a high hypnotic power against any threat to the human race, can scatter allurements, plagues and curses that affect mind and flesh also, among these and many other skills highlights the amplified power of healing and the ability to bring from beyond, the dead, moments before the soul lost in the afterlife. Bishops are an excellent choice to fight evil, support and company, sometimes they are found in prayer, isolated from sin and humanity."
Introduction Bishops are one of my specialties and indeed was the first class that mastered playing as a human. What I can say is that in general the class has many builds and they all guarantee good entertainment. You will have some initial difficulties, but our server tolerates many things, which makes the class quite effective even for a beginner player. The controls are easy to learn, play and quickly addictive, but the big secret is in build and which items to use, I repeat that you can vary a lot. Getting ahead, depending on the build you will be more or less subject to the buffs of a Granter. However one of the worst situations is to confront traitors and followers of evil, not rare a player from Vampire, Ouster or others will try to hunt you down, is a high price to pay due to the mastery of the class. At first all underestimate a Bishop, but in the end all will simply hate, there are causes, rules, and situations other, just be patient when that happen, because some players who will be willing to help you if this happens.
Testing Methodology Assuming I have my offline server some things will be tested as usual there, but I'll be trying to get close to the maximum possible on Nightfall, especially considering I have two Bishops. As usual when testing I try to be much accurate as possible, but judge by yourself and soak up what you find useful and convenient, although I would not lie or hide informations. I use my off line server and normal characters without GM privileges.
INTELLIGENCE Build "Vanquisher of Light" This build I developed exclusively for Nightfall. It is completely safe, effective, powerful, yet extremely expensive and exhausting. You need a very high level to ensure the Bishop a high magic damage, great items and great reliability at yourself in the beginning, since the build is harder in terms of development. I highly do not recommend it to beginners, instead players who really are willing to invest time, money and effort without measures. Once level 150 and a Job Changed slayer add 260 bonus points in INT. The remaining points acquired through the level must be inserted into STR.
Advantages -The best build in my opinion. -The ideal to annihilate Ousters. -Achieve a needed rate of Protection. With 300 STR points obtained at the last level of the class (assuming you have the items for this build) and solely with the Granter blessing a Vanquishers will extend this limit further. -Can make any monster/boss to target Ousters and Vampires instead. -Can perfectly 'Remove Curse'. The choir removes a curse called 'Death'. -Can heal Poisons, such as 'Yellow Poison'. -Can resurrect dead Slayers (multiple dead bodies). -Can heal 'Blood-Drain' with the choir 'Great Heal'. -Can create unique Holy Potions. -Thanks the skill 'Activation' the rate of regeneration of wounds and bleeding is amplified by 2x, ie, any effect under this spell will regenerate MP or HP faster when drinking a potion. -The skill 'Denial Magic' dramatically reduces all magical damage in the game by a certain percentage. -Can immobilize Ousters, Vampires and monsters with a hypnosis called 'Cause Critical Wounds', creatures under this will be submitted to the Bishop Silver damage then, if and only. -They are excellent against Vampires too. -Thanks to the Cross and their INT focus they can inject a very high rate of Silver. -Punish enemies during exhaustive bouts. -If shows very capable in PvP between Slayers. -Can make any monster/boss to target Ousters and Vampires instead. -The duration of buffs protection is quite high, the average is 7 minutes. -Improved damage of the spell 'Bombing Star' (under the effect of Bless).
-Thanks to the excellent damage the class can easily level up. -A drastic improvement on damage of the spell 'Illendue'. -No need to play with high latency (ping) to perform good PK's. Disadvantages -I would say all the advantages I mentioned above are only acquired after the Horus level 90. -Requires a great items set (compared to a Granter) including, All Attribute, All Resistance, HP steal, Curse Resistance and especially INTelligence. -Requires a Defense pet to go train and a pet of INT for PvP purposes. -The HPs amount shall be superior than 12 points at least. -The skill 'Remove Curse' tend to not work right after 510 points of INT. -Like any other Bishop if the victim -case- is under the effect of the curse called 'Death', the only spells to inflict damage are 'Illendue' and 'Cause Serious Wounds'. -Has difficulty to train at night in some areas (without Defense pet). -If caught without Bless (night if against Vampires) can easily die if two Warrior Vampires target together. -Highly depend of Intimate Grail or Granters Bless to achieve the maximum benefit in activities such as enduring physical pain of such classes.
STRENGTH & INTELLIGENCE Build "Legendary Saint" This is also a great build and perhaps the second best, but loses a little in relation to Vanquishers. With such build the player has in hand versatility, control, magic damage, resistance to physical aggression, respect between teammates, and an incredible balance to handle during various situations. Once level 150 and a Job Changed slayer you should add between 100~150 bonus points in INT, the goal is to not to exceed the limit of 510 points on INT, to do that you should establish a criteria of relativity. All the rest should be focused only on STR.
Note: as you can see on the right is a Bishop without Bless and Intimate Grail ( a Nightfall Horus 100 Bishop), but the main thing is to understand how the INT lowered in the other figure. To explain this I will be devoting a session in the guide. Advantages -As I just mentioned, Saints can be versatile by adjusting INT/STR whenever they want. -Good amount of HP. The average standard would be around 2000~2500 after level 220 (AD 70).
-Thanks to Bless and Intimate Grail this build grants to the Bishop much more Protection than Vanquishers. What I find something precious against Set Afire, Crag hits, Chief Beriths criticals... -It is an ideal build for anyone who is starting to build up a set for a Bishop or plays only Healers at some of Darkeden server. -Good magical damage, but somewhat limited I'd say. -The survival rate of this build is amazing, if not the best (considering HPs, but Bishops have the healing spells and choirs of cure, the two things have an incredible synergy all together). -Inflicts a moderate amount of silver to the opponents. -Moderate damage of 'Illendue' and 'Bombing Star'. -Thanks the skill 'Activation' the rate of regeneration of wounds and bleeding is amplified by 2x, ie, any effect under this buff will regenerate MP or HP faster when drinking a potion. -No need to play with high latency (ping) to perform good PK's. -If your intention is only PvP you do not need HPs, at least 6 or 4, excluding the rank bonus or pet secondary abilities. -To train the night there is a trick with Saints Bishops. You must equip a Sword and Shield (not even think about going a party if you choose this technique, because INT will downgrade if someone attack for you that way), however this way you'll save yourself on the use of a Defense pet and you will be able to train until the morning hours (assuming you have HPs for that too). Disadvantages -Requires more dedication from the player instead the character. Emphasis. -The HPs amount shall be superior than 8 points, depending on whether you want to train at night with comfort even at the highest levels (except depending on the area). -Like any other Bishop if the victim -case- is under the effect of the curse called 'Death', the only spells to inflict damage are 'Illendue' and 'Cause Serious Wounds', in that case if you're with an INT downgraded the situation is somewhat unfair, since the spell 'Illendue' highly depends on it, as well 'Cause Serious Wounds'. -If caught without Bless (night if against Vampires) can easily die if two Warrior Vampires target together. -Highly depend of Intimate Grail or Granters Bless to achieve the maximum benefit in activities such as enduring physical pain of such classes. -Even with a high STR avoid the belief that you can with everything and everyone, because you do not have a "shield" skill. Aura Shield, Air Shield, Sharp Shield, Water Shield, are examples. -Without HPs to train and fight at the same time is very annoying (sometimes).
Note: I would like to point out that you can vary the way your Bishop is, feel free to do so, but these two are the best builds in my opinion. I consider myself a very experienced player already in the current version of the game and I can say that you can follow the guide with confidence, however there are other builds too, some I do not recommend anymore, the reason in that during my research and personal progress in relation to the game I found many circumstances to judge the situation like that, then judge by yourself and enjoy what you can, although I may out point all my finds in the guide too.
Stereotype The Bishops HP at level 150 reaches 949~ (with the Crucifix in hand). With the Crucifix in hands Bishops get a bonus of 556 points of HP. Each setting STR point added increases HP at 2.5. Remember that if you decide to play without the Crucifix in hand you will be giving away the lesion caused by Silver to the enemies, the regeneration of MP (which will require you to drink ampules MP).
How to adjust the STR/INT of the Bishop First thing to do is equip a sword and a shield, the shield may be a common, however the Sword shall require the title of Horus 1.
All you need to do is ride party with other Slayers, the Heavy Shooters are preferably because they shoot faster and the experience gained is greater. Below are two images showing the procedure mentioned. The Heavy Shooter Plasma Rockets are excellent for this, however in the image below our Gunner was using other skills that do not appear.
There is one rule to obey and for this reason you should adjust the attributes of the Bishop according your will. The average INT after training is almost always 300~350, depending on the build, items, level... Taking into consideration that you will follow the build of STR/INT I think the average is almost always the same. And again I want to make it clear that you will take longer to gain 1 STR is if your Basic INT is already very low, so for this reason there is another rule or nearly the same, the average amount of Basic INT is 180~240. In short, as you chant or cast aggressive spells the INT will rise even with the Sword and Shield in hands, STR rises whenever others are attacking, and that is it. From what we understand we still have 207 points to allocate in STR, feel free to continue training, but at very low levels the experience gained through the spells will be pretty significant and few skill are enough to climb again 1 point of INT and 1 STR point down.
The Bishop Prayers for Healing The great advantage of Bishops is that they can heal themselves or companions around. A good Bishop can not forget to give attention to his teammates and that is called support, may sound silly, but sometimes measly 50 extra points obtained through a healing will make a difference. I will be listing the most used healing chants, although there are others that are rare to see and ineffective. Attention!! The prayer of healing are not dependent on INT points, however depend on the skill level. I would like to mention something very important too. During gameplay the character will be subject to effects. The effects are consequences that monsters, skills, magics, charms, diseases, circumstances, among other things, will cause the players of each race in particular to many circumstances. It is clear that Bishops are uniquely trained to dispel curses caused by the Vampire race (with respect to the healing within skills forfeit). Below is a picture showing all (with the exception of Paralyze effect) the main effects caused by the race of Vampires.
Healing Points:
75 (does not depend on INT)
Note: A bonus of +10 healing is added to when the Bishop heals himself.
•• Delay: • • Range:
Duration: instantaneous Utility: this prayer is used only until acquisition of Passing Heal. It has a moderate range, removes many health problems including Paralysis, but by reason of Passing Heal be better it ends up being replaced by all promoted Bishops.
Healing Points:
133 (does not depend on INT)
Note: A bonus of +10 healing is added to when the Bishop heals himself.
••• Delay: • • Range:
Duration: instantaneous Utility: this prayer heals the infection caused by the effect obtained through the suction of blood, this effect is called Blood Drain. Although the chant is widely used (and should be) together with Passing Heal. What many players commonly call "the combo of healing."
120 (does not depend on INT) Range: • • • • Delay: • • Healing Points:
Duration: affected by range Utility: this is an AD skill. A prayer used to heal more than a single human, that is, if one or more humans are next to each other the magic will heal as if it were a chain. It works as Cure All, dissipating poisons and some form of curses (including Paralyze), but the healing is much better, the range is improved in comparison to all the healing skills of Bishops. Use it whenever you can!
The healing rate may vary (according to my tests), when healing two Slayers (one being the Bishop and the second a Defender) the Defender healing limit was 274, the average was 194 for the Bishop itself and another average amount of 244 for the Defender. Passing Heal can heal multiple Slayers, below is a picture showing.
I could see a small bonus added in the standard healing amount of 120, the rate is 70, ie, the healing for the Slayers in a group as shown in the image (away from the Bishop) is 190.
Healing Points: (depends on INT)
• Delay: • • Range:
Duration: 1 minute and 5 seconds (does not depend on INT) Utility: this illusion creates a magical carpet on the floor and by resting there any humans will receive a healing touch with each second. More of a Slayer can receive the healing benefits of regeneration, however this illusion does not remove ailments, poisons or curses, only treats wounds and bleeding. Below an image showing the magic carpet working.
As you can see this skill has an unparalleled importance and reason for this is that: * a Bishop can rest on the mat during boring exhausting battles and duels especially against
Elemental Ousters. * more than a carpet can be invoked in the same location. * Regeneration depends on the INT, then stop and think. A Bishop with 720 INT will regenerate about 2535 points of HP. Below an image that shows the behavior of Regeneration for each 100 INT points allocated.
Healing Points:
20 (does not depend on INT)
•• Delay: • • • • • Range:
Duration: 40 seconds Utility: approximation for every 2 seconds this spell will heal humans (including the Bishop) around you. A good detail to remember is that the animation of a star circling around the Bishop has nothing to do with the act of healing. The math is simple, during the 40 second duration of this spell, the total healing will be 400 points of HP.
Note: This skill does not work right and may miss more than 5 times only if the Bishop has a higher INT to 510 points. This is a major drawback as I mentioned before, for a Vanquishers of Light. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TppsahOcmUQ the video shows it
••• Delay: • • Range:
Utility: when in prayer the Bishop will liberate the cursed flesh of a human against curses (including an improved plague called Death).
If you unknown the curse caused by Paralyze the image below is the reference.
Utility: allows the Bishop back from the afterlife only once. He will resurrect the same location after 5 seconds of wait time.
Healing Points:
314 (does not depend on INT)
Note: The skill was tested in a Defender twice, in one of the times the Bishop with 820 INT points and another with 320 points.
• Delay: • • • Range:
Utility: allows the Bishop resurrect a dead companion. In this case the return from the afterlife requires the Bishop to convert all remaining spiritual energy of the fallen body. The amount is converted into a small and fixed amount of "life".
••• Delay: • • • Range:
Utility: allows the Bishop the purest and most sophisticated way to contact with the afterlife angelic realm. This magic rescues the last state of mind and body of the deceased on the battlefield. They will return to life fully invigorated and refreshed of spiritual and strength. Below an image showing the return of dead Slayers.
Delay:
••
Utility: with this ability to craft, all Bishops are able to create potions thanks the teachings of alchemy and the nature herbal extracts. Below the 4 types of potions and its healing rate.
The Bishop Protective Spells The Bishops as previously mentioned in the previous session are trained to dissipate and fight the evils of the Vampire race. Well, that on the one hand because the other hand there two major advantages in the game.
for my conviction it becomes clear that Denial Magic reduces magic damage by 60% or roughly my conclusion was that with this buff magics and spells are absorbed by 40% of the total damage, judge as you prefer. Denial Magic has duration of 1 minute and only protects the Bishop itself.
this magic is a representation of ardor and faith of the Bishop raising the spiritual energy and faith. The result is a transformation that dramatically accelerates and boosts the effect of the ampules, bottles and potions ingested. Activation lasts 1 minute and during this period the HP and MP items ingested has accelerated healing effect in doable speed. Below is a small graphical animation.
Remember that to get the best benefits of healing, Slayers can drink two different types of
potion at the same time.
•• Delay: • • Range:
Duration: (depends on INT) Utility: buff which can be applied to any human including Bishop. This protection always fits like a glove to add the required amount to avoid the success of all Vampire Curses.
I realized a second test. The Bishop with 820 INT points, the other criteria of the previous test were maintained. I could see that the Curses: Death and Paralyze suffered a decrease of about 5 seconds of duration. The Curses: Doom and Seduction failed 3~5 times, however the durations were maintained.
•• Delay: • • Range:
Duration: (depends on INT) Utility: buff which can be applied to any human including Bishop. It is widely used to enhance the amount of Poison Resistance needed to the companions not fall under the effect of the blindness caused by Yellow Poisons.
•• Delay: • • Range:
Duration: (depends on INT) Utility: buff which can be applied to any human including Bishop. Talking exclusively about acids, is a very common type of threat to the human flesh. It isn't rare for a Slayer get a Swamp on foot in merely PvM situations, moreover Vampires in PvP are masters to release Storms or the or famous Gliding Erupting shots. So based on this argument you will not want to miss the chance to improve the resistance from your colleagues and yourself with this protection.
•• Delay: • • Range:
Duration: (depends on INT) Utility: buff which can be applied to any human including Bishop. Like acids the blood spells are common in any situation, however you can ask me what is the reason to hide the tests with respect to Summon Gore Gland of the Vampires. The reason is that later in the guide I will be giving emphasis to this skill assuming a set of All Resistances.
Note: In the case of protections I kept on analyzing the behaviors considering the Bishop itself. Obviously if we consider a reverse testing, ie, analyze the efficiency of the Vampires spell-class we would have to test the veracity of resistances acquired through the items too, but again I repeat that the tests were exclusive to this class, the Bishops.
The Bishop Harmfulness As everyone knows, but if you are an extreme beginner at this game, Bishops have a second function which is to conduct all the light through faith words. This powerful manifestation is manifested through a form of magic. I'll be explaining in brief each of the main spells and a Bishop.
•••• Damage: • (depends on INT) Delay: • • • Range:
Duration: 4 seconds Utility: the Bishop through an illusory gesture subjects the victim to the Christian Calvary. The victim will be temporarily immobilized as if being crucified. During this state the Vampire
or Ouster will be subject to receive more Silver damage than usual. HPs & MPs: Yes! Advanced & Curiosities: this spell is commonly called "CCW". You can apply CCW whenever you want, the same way if the path is blocked by monsters, obstacles or the target is moving away too long, the CCW will miss. The same way by a Vampire entering camouflage into the ground or to inside a fog called Darkness, then CCW will miss. CCW against Darkness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk846Nr9Ihw It can happen to any Vampire, Ouster and even Slayer to blame the player who controls the Bishop of a "hacker." This is because of the times that a bug within the game happens. The Darkness can fail! actually it is released and immediately 2 seconds after it's dissipated without a reason. This is not only with the Bishops, also independent of any other class and race. The following video shows a Vampire going through this difficulty. Darkness failing (against one of Bishops) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gk5k8AR2NCY this video belongs to the user Pistika from youtube Another thing I would like to remember. The build of Vanquishers is great to immobilize a target and while this to attack another one. Following this strategy your chances to dominate the battle field are much better, opponents will certainly feel a strong threat.
•••• Damage: • • • (depends on INT) Delay: • • Range:
Utility: this spell works like a shower of holy blessings. It is commonly used to train and hurt with light beams the opponents. It affects in area and will hit anything in the vicinity of exactly wh Curiosities:[/b] this spell is commonly called ere it falls. org/thtuis91ttinypicorg/] [img]http/image_3_str_int_healVigor Drop does not hurt humans. HPs & MPs: Yes! Advanced & Curiosities: it is used in conjunction with the spell Bombing Star and the only thing that comes to mind is that you should always start dropping it at the beginning of a sequence. For example: CCW, Vigor Drop, skill 3 and skill 4. Vigor Drop has improved damage against Ousters. It hits the target more than a time. I recommend using it to distract the victims. Apply it on a local and Bombing Star in another location, so you will confuse enemies more easily.
••••• Damage: • • • • (depends on INT) Delay: • • Range:
Utility: is undoubtedly the best aggressive magic of a Bishop. It has several uses, but the main one is hurt with a large group of monsters around where it falls. The Bishop through this
magic can gather plenty amount of light, for this reason Bombing Star does not depends largely on the INT, but still improves as the intelligence goes up. HPs & MPs: Yes! Advanced & Curiosities: not to be confused plead Bombing Star and immediately if your Bishop climb up motorcycle other Bombs fall from the heavens, this is just a mistake animation in the game and in fact the opponent will see just like a single falling. Remember that skill area has a greater range and damage is static even if the target is farther still. As already said DonVito on his guide "use Bombing Star as a sonar to detect where a vampire can be within the Darkness" -credits remaining to him-. Other ways to use it is to distract agile enemies, they will become confused to see such amount of light falling on distant places or tracking whenever the next steps are planed to move.
••• Damage: • • • • • (depends on INT) Delay: • • Range:
Utility: through this manifestation of faith and the light the Bishop may punish any living thing, even human and heretics. Depends largely on the INT. HPs & MPs: Yes! Advanced & Curiosities: undoubtedly another, but the best representation of power and faith of Vanquisher Bishops. Illendue is an illusion manifested through the spirit and will of the Bishop, it will hurt anything the Bishop wishes it, even other humans will be punished by the holy light beams. The amount of light is so big to consider as laser samples in the purest form. The Illendue is very dependent on your INT, you will realize the damage it will cause to target flesh, assuming you opted for a Vanquisher of Light path.
•••• Damage: • • • • • (depends on INT) Delay: • • • • • Range:
Utility: thanks to Almighty God the Bishops can reach the effects of the most sacred divine pure form even without adhering to arduous training in INT, however the use of this illusion is exhausting and requires a lot of concentration to the Bishop. All faith Bishop produces will be converted into a powerful jet-shaped laser to punish any live form. HPs & MPs: Yes! Advanced & Curiosities: this skill requires you to be AD Class 20 title. Do not forget to learn it you should first learn Passing Heal. Illusion Inversion always heals you back when it hits the opponent, the average is 245 points.
••• Damage: • • (depends on INT) Delay: • Range:
Utility: Bishops can throw little prisms of light with their Crucifixes. This due the concentration of the faith in their minds and even when threatened by other human they can punish them using such artifices. The act is actually a way to exorcise the targets, such as Illendue too. HPs & MPs: Yes! Advanced & Curiosities: it is used in conjunction with Illendue, in this case the target may be under a curse called Death. Under such gruesome effect any magic performed by a Bishop will be denied and the damage will always be insignificant, its in fact a bug present in the game, but with this skill combined to Illendue you can surpass it.
• Delay: • • • Range:
Duration if and only in the case the Bishop moves away from the place where Peace was applied successfully, except when a Bishop not accidentally mug monsters with spells, as this will wake the monsters from the sordid state of conscience. Utility: peace is an illusion that will temporarily deny the existence of the Bishop before any creatures. The monsters under the influence of this illusion will ignore the Bishop and if perchance someone approaching them, then automatically that person will be the next target of such monsters. Advanced & Curiosities: Peace works against any kind of monster, including bosses of the game. Use it whenever you can. A secret that few Healer players know is that when you Peace a very strong monster, nearby resurrected Slayers will also be ignored by the monsters under influence of peace.
The following image shows a series of tests conducted against:
* A Female Vampire with a common Damage +5 set. Total attributes are 20/240/510. * The Bishop wasn't under the influence of Bless and Striking. * The Rank Soul Smashing Grade skill was maintained and a Reliant Crucis g4 cross without silver coating was used. The damage does not suffer changes during night or day. Note: for each magic an S (on the side) is the amount of silver applied. The damage of Vigor Drop
works that way.
An additional test was performed taking into consideration * the Bishop with 620 points allocated to INT, however this time under the effect of Bless and Striking (buffs of a Granter with 820 INT). * The other criteria were preserved from the previous test
Belt and Hotkey Setu This is a Bishop "standard", is my favorite too
This setup includes two Honey Rice Cakes
Some players tend to carry many belts with motorcycle keys, I personally have never done this
I highly suggest you use the scroll wheel on your mouse to perform some movements to any class in the game, because the button is extremely useful, but in especial to the Granter. Grade Skills +5 Defense.
+4 Magical Damage.
+15 Curse Resistance.
+2 HPs.
+5 INT.
+5% of Defense. I mentioned the disadvantage of Bishops and indeed without this Rank night-train is extremely difficult. I'll be focusing a little more on that subject later.
The Bishop Items Some options you are bound to have on set, and other are supplements and still improvements, but to build the a good Vanquishers you're bound to have a set of high quality. Below I am attaching a complete picture of my INT based Bishop. The set serves as the best example for both builds, though you can vary your options are if you follow the build #2 of this guide.
Click the image to view it larger. If you have a parallel character as the Granter, then two sets would be too expensive, so I recommend a set for both. If you don't then you need to pick up the pieces of your Bishop character set separately, or do what you can. The desired options for Bishops are: -All Resistance at least 40 points. The ideal is to reach between 60~70 including the Bible (+9) and the Gilles de Rais Zap Core bonus (+9). -Curse Resistance only 60~70 among the items. -HP Steal at least 8. The ideal is to get a value above 12. -STR/INT/All Attributes fill your set of that. That's the secret of a strong Bishop. The more you risk on that, the better you get. Below I performed a test according to the following principles: * 63 All Resistance points were aggregated on the set of the Bishop. * 510 INT points allocated in Vampire.
* to apply the protections the Bishop kept the standard of 420 points in INT.
The Bishop Pet A Centaur of IN T is the best choice
In the alternative of going to train at Night you should train a Defens e Pet. An inexpensive choice is to get it with a dog
Here in this video I show the difference in builds when they decide to train. If you watch the video you will understand perfectly the need for a pet of Defens e to survive at Night https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yABK7tQJQc

Questions and Answer Why play as Bishop
I could sum it up in short sentences, but if you read the entire guide you can understand that Bishops have unique skill within the game, but overall it is an excellent support class. They are responsible for balancing the respect between the races. Bishops also has unique features such as train beginners and there is nothing better than an Healer close by, especially when "that" annoying Mage begins the bombing of spells while training. You can remove poisons, remove curses, resurrect others, apply Peace watching monsters to attack anybody, immobilize Ousters and Vampires whenever you want, make potions to sell, endure physical damage and mainly magic damage through Denial magic, heal others around and buff them with Activation, your skills won't miss, you can do HPs, you can train quickly as you allocate more points in INT, and much more.
Leveling Guide I will consider that you have nothing. Until level 90 - Get out of the complex block on Eslaniam NW to kill some zombies to learn the spell called Holy Arrow. - Open your map (CTRL + M) find the Clerics Guild and head to it. - Once inside the building look for an NPC called 'Thing'. Ask him to 'Set Evacuation Point'. - Proceed to the elevator to access the 'basement 1'. Now look for a hole in the wall to a dungeon called 'WaterWay'. - Once in the sewer you have a safe zone to stand and from there your train begins. - Un-equip your beginners Cross and start casting Holy Arrow on the monsters that are near the safe zone. - Pay attention to the system messages 'You can Learn a New Skill'. Go back to the building and find the elevator. - Proceed to the floor 3 where you learn new spells for your class. The NPC name is 'Rachmanov'. Just ask him 'to teach me with healing spells'. From level 90 up to 140 - If you have learned all the spells you only have to level up them all to 100. Most of them are healing. We focus on Vigor Drop for now. - By now you can also have a small money quantity to afford MP and HP ampuls, as well a bike and the helicopters radio. - Leave the Cleric Guild building and press CTRL + M. Find a NPC called 'Jack'. There you find what I mentioned. Buy the bike key and the radio. The MP and HP ampuls you can buy from 'Thing', buy some Medium Potion Bottles too. - Leave the Guild and go out the Eslanian NW complex, Create some Holy Potions and attach them to your belt. - Wear a shield. Wait for the day time-hour and we are heading to Eslanian NE fields. - Ride with your bike to any of the Eslanian NE dungeon entrances and there you will attempt to level up. We are taking down all monsters without a hurry. Always turning on the buffs because whenever you are healing yourself, then you are also getting more domain EXP. If the dungeon of Eslanian is too hard go to Drobeta SE or Raoh Dungeon b1. - Once at level 100 it is time to learn a new spell called 'Turn Undead'. It isn't described in this guide because it is a low-level spell and we are only going to use it until learn Bombing Star. Basically it hurts all the monsters around you. - During the night you can with Illendue and CCW gain more EXP in Dungeon Waterway. - The night turns will be very hard anywhere until or even with Intimate Grail (depending the items you have). - Try to buy or find War Armors. They will be useful most of the time and remember that if you can't afford a good Cross to level up (st. helena, papal, lorraine, catharina) you have to use the shield method to boost your evasion points. You are really going to sacrifice the HP points from the domain weapon, but you shall earn much more experience points instead of using a bad mace. Alternatively you can wear a st. helena cross if you dislike my idea.
From level 150 to 180 - Assuming you completed the quest. You only have to party a Granter and ask him to kill monsters with Rotten Apple. Its up to you change to Perona SW or keep in Clerics B1 (the resurrection point). - I know it will be frustrating meet a high level Vampire or a Ouster. You will be PKed in seconds, but this is part of the process. - Pick up weapons. I made a really nice guide about 'JC able items' and basically the items you see in the guide are the same that will worth money for you, so selling it will make your fortune quickly enough. - I also made a guide about 'Couples' you should read that for further reference on how to marry a level 100 slayer to the main character. Won't be that hard. - Remember that playing in window mode will be much easier if you are planning to use a couple to sell the items back in Perona SW. - Its also a good idea to join a Team. - At level 170 you shall learn 'Illusion Inversion'. - Party with a Gunner (at least 2x per week) or do many, many Holy potions to get to 315 basic points of INT. From level 200 to 250 During 2x EXP event thus using hour glasses
- Eslanian Dungeon or Hell Garden b1. Persistence is the key to success! Good luck!
When someone should start a Bishop? This is relative. Many Ousters based on INT are a problem on a server, Vampires based on INT too. Basically the amount of Healers is always something important because they are the counter-point of most classes in the game. But you should only start a Bishop if your vocations tend towards the side, it is not easy to train a Bishop, compared with Sworders they are both very hard, but I believe that if you have other Slayers you will need a Bishop sooner or later to fight and support a party.
How to play a Bishop? The Bishops are easy to learn to play, dominate and teach someone later on, but some things you must always do! * use Passing Heal whenever you can. * do not attack if you are training with a Granter, if he decides put monsters to sleep. The Granter depends on small distance to buff you, so don't stay away from them. * use Peace always! * remove curses, heal poisons and remove blood-drain from Slayers. * pay attention and preferably play with sounds to listen what is going on.
How to play around with a Bishop? (someone else is the Bishop) This is relative because a bad Bishop is always a bad player behind. The ideal is to balance the situation and let him lead the cause. If you take different and quick decisions the Healer will not understand your intentions, they are trained to offer support, then it depends on the set of you two to reach the limits together. If you are a Granter the first thing to do is give them the Intimate Grail, turn Holy Armor on and Detect Invisibility always! As a Splitter you are throwing yourself in the first magic-monster and start spinning it with the
Wild Typhoon, but beware, the major weakness of Healers is that if someone get stuck in the Darkness, they can do nothing but attempt to use Whitsuntide later on.
How to go PvP with a Bishop? Do not spare CCW, even against Vampires Summon Gore Gland, but assuming that you already got a good reading on the offensive skills of the guide, you should practice a bit, develop your own strategies. Here some basics: * use the bike whenever you can. * try to immobilize an opponent while you attack the another. * avoid two enemies attacking you at the same time. * stay near your party and Granters. * always turn on Activation in the PvP. * for each attack drink 1 red and 1 yellow potion. * in duels is always good to use Great Heal on yourself. * if the Vampire cast too much Darkness in the middle of your training, then use Peace all the time and send all monsters to him. * with the crucifix in hands your damage improves.
Generic Conclusion "Healers have the advantage of reaching a huge balance in this version of Darkeden. With effort and dedication you could become one of the strongest classes in the game. Obviously there are limitations and so I developed a build in particular offering a greater damage and more protection balancing. A Bishop is actually somewhat limited in the same way that Defenders are after the 230 levels, they both become somewhat obsolete and without goals, so again I developed a Guide more compatible to our end of game style. Healers are actually secondary characters. The main thing about it is, more INT for better damage and more STR to tolerate the aggression of others during a PvP."

Thanks List I wish first to thank our amiable forum for sizing up such treasures to disclose among players and players. The player #Mario #Wuut who sold me items which I still carry today. Youtube by storing videos I posted here. Abdul DonVito by your official Healer guide, it was inspiring. I would like to test protection, but I confess that I am very tired and the guide left me fatigued after 3 days of development, if in case you have suggestions, tips or requests feel free to ask. If I forgot someone to thank you apologize.
