1.
Mark the centr e point and degr ee of orientation on shell plate as per approved dr awing.
2.
At first course install the Sto pper outside the shell plate for the jacking system which provides the easy access way to r emove and install the Bottom plate.
3.
Installing the jacking Su ppor ts on the external shell all around the tank at equal inter val which maintains equal distribution of Tank load.
4.
At the same location of Jacking su ppor t inside of tank fixing cur vatur e channel to maintain the roundness of Tank.
5.
Af ter shif ting of dimension star t the cutting of old bottom one by one.

First cutting the Close seam and then cutting Shell to bottom by means of Plasma Cutter.

Localized Jacking (Maximum height between 50 to 60mm)
10. During jack u p mak e sur e that annular plate pro per ly put down from shell plate 11. Af ter Jack u p cut the bottom par t of the anchor Chair as per sk etch for the welding of shell to Annular Plate. 12. Replace the Annular plate piece by piece until to com plete the arr angement and shall be arr ange according to the r adius that exceed the dimension of the construction dr awings to com pensate for the welding shrink age. 13. Af ter cutting the first course annular plate side Edge to be smooth grinds and should be clear from any cr ack. 14. QC Personal is r es ponsible to ins pect af ter cutting and grinding. 15. Install the Tem por ary platform on the suita ble o pening location for shif ting the bottom plate inside the tank. 16. Befor e shif ting the Material, Cutting one Anchor Bolt for the access of mate rial movement. (Due to Plate Width) 17. Lay down the bottom plate from outside toward the centr e in princi pal as per approved dr awing 18. Plate to plate over lap in long seam and shor t seam shall be maintained as per Dr awing. 19. Af ter shif ting plate to inside star t the fit u p Shell to annular Plate. 20.
During fitu p shell to annular plate maintain the r adius and avoid from any sagging.

Af ter fitu p annular to annular weld the joint and perform the R T as per API 650.

Af ter accepting of R T r esult Star t the Fitu p of Shell to Annular Plate.

Befor e Jacking down, mak e sur e that pro per guider plate tacking inside and outside on the annular plate which control the r adius of Annular Plate.

Level, R oundness and Ver t icality of the shell plate to be check ed prior to Weldin g.

Pro per Car e shell be tak en to avoid distor tion during welding.
26.
Joint shall be welded in pro per sequence: first shall be welded the shor t seams, af ter the long seams shall be welded from center going outwards to the peri phery
27.
Af ter com pleting all the welding, the dimensions to be check ed.
28.
Ins pection sequence will be followed according to joint com pleted and will be r ecorded as per ITP
29.
Perform shell to bottom Liquid Penetr ant test as per API 650 S.4.10.1.
30.
Conduct the vacuum Box as per approved Method statement 600-500Z-4432.
31. Chemical cleaning to be carried out prior to Hydro TESTING. 32. Hydro-test to be performed. 33. On acceptance of hydro-test the procedur e is com plete. 34. For detail follow the sequence of work.
