None of t6e inconruitie8 of t6e pa8t law8 are pre8ent in t6e pre8ent day 28lamic Law of 2n6eritance. @owever; 8ome people claim euality of ri6t8 i88ue8 on t6e i88ue t6at a female et8 6alf t6e 86are of a male in in6eritance i.e. a 8on in6erit8 twice a8 muc6 a8 a dau6ter; a brot6er twice a8 muc6 a8 a 8i8ter and 8o on. 5nly in t6e ca8e of parent8 of a decea8ed do bot6 parent8 receive one-8iAt6 of t6e 86are in property.
